Trijicon SRS: High-End Failure

As the sun crossed the sky and inched just forward of me I discovered a major flaw in the SRS a halo appeared around the dot.  Im not talking about a slightly noticeable ring of light around the primary dot, Im talking about what looks like bars on a cell phone that indicate signal strength that surrounded the dot and were nearly as bright.  Keep in mind that the sun doesnt have to be directly in front of you for this to occur, the sun only needs to be slightly in front of you while shooting and you will see this issue.  Click on the image to the right to expand it so you can see in detail what this problem looks like, I think youll agree its pretty bad.  It turns out that youre seeing is a reflection of the electronics inside the sight.

That sucks.

Have you ever looked around at the group of people you are in and thought, "If the Zombie Apocalypse happens right now, this is what I have to work with."?
