Bummer man, if you end up getting done early don't hesitate to come late. We'll close the place down I'm sure.

Fortuntely for me, I have a family that wants to see me...unfortunately I went shooting at lunch today and won't be able to justify missing out on family time after working all day...lol...I'll make the next one for sure!
Maybe some of you guys close by will want to go throw some lead down range with me before the next meet and shoot!

Awesome, and welcome.

Adam - I've got a question.  The gun I'm planning on shooting is my EDC. So it'll be holstered and loaded the whole ride down there. But you guys don't want us handling our firearms at our vehicle on the premises. Sooooo, should I just clear my weapon at the gate when we stop to open/close it?  Or stop somewhere before then?  Or is it ok to unload it at the vehicle and then place it (cleared) in my bag?  Just wanting some clarification so I don't break the rules on my first dang trip. Lol.

Good question - after you park, head to an unoccupied bay, walk up to a berm and unload the gun and reholster. It needs to be fully unloaded and unable to fire: magazine out, nothing in the chamber, hammer/striker down.

Just a warning to everyone out there - the first part of the driveway has gotten pretty ugly due to all the rain lately. Go slow and avoid large holes :)

The whole range is nice and dry except the very last bay, which will have a teeny bit of mud we'll be walking through to get to the dry part.

Bring the SCAR I'm sure many more haven't shot one than an AR and we'll probably have an AR or 3.

SCAR 17S it is then.  :rocknroll2:

Anyone have any requests from my pile of 1911s?

I'd like to shoot a Colt full size AND your Sig again.  I want to compare them.  A 1911 is what's next for me, no doubt.  Just deciding which to get.  I'm down to a Colt XSE series, or a Colt Rail Gun (As long as they shoot as good as your Sig.  I liked the hell out of that thing.)

That this is just soooooo sweet looking.

I'll have to remember to stop and grap a box of 45 tomorrow.

Well, is that still available anywhere?  Around here only 9, 40, 22, and 223/5.56 are all gone.  45 is still around, but I'll be leaving to early.  Anyone know about down there?

You both beat me...sick wife and baby who cried all night...maybe two hours sleep.  Left the house at 430.  Getting better now!  2nd cup of coffee, vintage Jason Boland in my speakers, and 85 pulling a trailer!  Lol. Good times boys!
