i use the "thumbs forward" grip.

i have done alot of combat rifle training and am pretty used to shooting two shots, and the thumbs forward grip really keeps the barrel down.

I use thumbs down grip, left thumb over right thumb.
Cougars are shy, reclusive, and downright mysterious... :icon_wink:

If you really want to get into the theory and mechanics of it,  check out the Brian Enos Forum for a wealth of knowledge.
Also, Duane Thomas has written some great articles in the Dillon Blue Press discussing grip technique amongst a myriad of other things.
