After reading the Form 1 and Form 4 again, nowhere does it indicate you need to send a copy of your trust paperwork.
Only asks to send in 2 copies of the Form 1 or Form 4.

If you find any language that indicates otherwise, let me know.

Here you go Tex...http://www.guntrustlawyer.com/form1.html

And, another link from Mr Sean Cody (who I went through for my Trust)... http://www.texasnfatrust.com/Form%204.htm

I think you would include a copy of trust if applying as 'other business entity' (i.e. trust).  Otherwise, no need for a copy if applying as an individual.

Geez, links were broken... finally got them to work lol.

Welcome.  It's now been 4.5 months for me on my From 1.  Waiting to see what happens... if they accept the copies I sent in.

OMG  :bangheadonwall:

Just called up the ATF to get status on my Form 1.  Well it's in pending status as of June... just pending to be reviewed, and approval date set for December if everything goes smoothly.  But, we all know I messed up (i.e. mail in copy) so who knows.

Date mailed: April 14th  (copies sent April 15th)
Pending Status: June ?
Approve Status: December ?

ok... latest update.  so last week i received a mail from the ATF.  they have my form 1... both copies but, this time the copies were on a different type of paper and not the original paper which i printed the form on.  that was weird.  and another thing, the only correction i had to do was to sign both copies and mail back.  i remembered i had signed the original.

anyways... so i signed and sent the form 1 and the copy on 10/9.  this time, it went to a WV address.  hopefully my stamp will be arriving soon.  i've waited long enough lol.

Date mailed: April 14th  (copies sent April 15th)
Latest Status: corrections to copies of form 1... signed and mailed back on 10/9
Approve Status: ?

well my friends... it was a long journey and so, this journey has to come to an end.  what's today's date...hmm, monday, october 22nd... and, i have in my hand... my TAX STAMP!!!   :rocknroll2:

the posted date was october 17th.  i guess i received it a couple days ago, but hadn't checked my mail box until now.  so all in all... it took roughly 7 months start to end with a minor correction (i.e. signatures) a few weeks ago.  i did sign the original docs.  these were printed on different papers for some reason.

so i just need a few more parts... aac 51T muzzle brake and a buffer kit.  hopefully i can pick up the parts at the gun show this weekend.

well, it was quite an experience.  now, for the next waiting game... form 4 was out the door 2 weeks ago  :th_thicon_question:

Date Mailed: April 14th  (copies sent April 15th)
Pending Status: corrections to Form 1... signatures on form and copy.  mailed back on 10/9
Approve Status: posted date on 10/17
Tax Stamped Recieved: 10/22

Congrats, I know its exciting to get that paper with the little stamp in the corner.  I have 3 items in pending mode.  I am hoping next year to have surprises about every two months.

thanks guys.

@ricochet, yeah i'm just glad it went through and finalized.  not that i have a record history that would prevent it, and more like the whole process like what did i screw up this time on the application lol.  it sure does feels good.  i feel like after this one, subsequent waits won't be too bad.

what forms did you sent out?  if you don't mind me asking.  thanks  :thumbsup1:

oooh... full auto.  what do you have in mind for full auto... thompson, m16, etc?  keep me posted when this happens... i'd like to try it.  i'll provide ammo lol.

i'm thinking of a next project now lol... maybe another SBR (not sure which cal.) or possibly a suppressor for 9mm or .45acp.  it'll be a simple barrel swap for the sig p226, but for the 1911 might have to send it back to nighthawk for fitting in a threaded barrel.  i don't know... OR maybe a SBS like that benelli m4  :thumbsup1:

I have been looking at the Ruger ACC 5.56.  I like the select fire aspect, price is also a major factor.

I'm surprised you even got it that quick. Form 1 and Form 4 go to different addresses with Form1 going to Martinsburg, WV.

Ok... My Form 1 dancing is in the mail today.  1/2/2013.

Let's see how long it takes.  I bet there is a large influx of Form 1 applications in the mail since the Dec. incident.

Fortunately, as of right now, political climate doesn't affect NFA items.
