I will not be watching the SB this year.  Guess good thing is the range is usually empty that day,  so I wont have anyone next to me.
But next year I will be watching as the Texans bring the first SB win to houston.

The Texans loss is the Raiders gain. Good luck Knapp!

Just saw that on the news.   Hope it works out for him,  he did a hell of a job getting Yates ready this year.

Deacon Jones: Texans can't let Mario Go
I think Deacon took one to many shots to the head.

Seems to be alot of talk about a source saying Manning wants to come here,   I have a feeling this is like a washed up Farva trying to go to a rival to prove a point at the end.

Why would the Texans want him?

I hope not, I don't think it is the best thing for the team.  We are heading in a great direction,  he could be a distraction.

He would cost the Texans too much money against the salary cap. They need to spend that money in other area besides QB. If he takes the verteran minimum and understands he is simply a back up....well....not the end of the world.

Do you really thing that would even happen?    I can't see him taking a backup job.

Not really. I think he wants another shot at a winner. Houston gives him a great chance of doing this. However, like you, I think he wants to be the one driving the bus.

I would say take him as a back up,  but dont see that working.  Think we should keep core of team together, get Johnson another good reciever, and get Yates ready to be the man in a few years.

Agreed.
I'm anxiously awaiting the start of free agency on March 13th. Although I don't see the Texans being able to land a big name. I'm curious to see what the other teams that could possibly challenge the Texans for the AFC crown do. I'm thinking the Texans will have to get most of the help in the draft.

I am still not a fan of Kubiac,  but hey if he gets us a SB win I might start liking the guy.

It's on texans facebook page,  and 610 sent out that text this morning.    Good to know we got him for at least the next 5 years.    Now to see if we keep Mario.

I sure hope Rick Smith, the general manager for the Houston Texans, knows what he is doing.
