Maybe we should have a picture forum.
Found this the other day. My little girl knew what her daddy did. ;)
Oh come on.....if you paid thousands of dollars for the very best, top grade 1911 and some clown comes along and beats you with a $400 plastic pistol, wouldn't you hate Glocks too?-

I will look into The raffle thing, but I do know that raffles for profit are illegal both in person and online in texas.

Ok then we would just donate the extra $$ to the forum, no profit involved then.

Maybe we should have a picture forum

I've thought about it - but in general, people usually like to post pics of their handguns in the handgun section - rifles in the rifle section, etc. Splitting it up with a photo section just end with a result of 1/2 the pics in one place (the photo forum), and 1/2 in respective gun forums, depending on what the photo is... So, I've found that it doesn't work too well.

Coffee is good.  How many have gun safes packed like sardine cans?  I liked the daughters art of the eggbeater flying dad.

Hey, how about a dedicated forum to sell our guns by buying raffle tickets. Pretty easy we just look the the Blue Book Firearm Values and set the reserve at that price, "if the seller agrees", and if it goes beyond that, the extra $$$ could go towards maintaining the site, everyone's happy.  Easy to do with a PayPal account, and the buyer would not receive the gun until the money was in the sellers PayPal account. Ok it was another one of my weird brainstorms.

Yes, as ODXD pointed out, donations are fine. And, one day,w e may work out something for "supporting members." But unfortunately - doing a raffle for profit is against the law. We ran into the problem at the Fn Forum when a gun dealer offered to raffle off guns provided he sold a set # of tickets. But, it was to be on a continual basis. We had to scrap the entire thing once we found out it wans't legal...

Those "raffles" that Glocktalk and other forums do are actually illegal. They are fortunate that nothing has ever become of it, however. I for one do not want to be the guy who gets in trouble for such a thing one day, though.

I think I bruised my bladder.
We had a longer than usual sales meeting yesterday morning.
I had to go REALLY bad and held it too long.
Lots of pain today....sucks getting older.

If you have a FB "facebook" page you should spread the word by posting the link to here on your page, easy way to build up members, I know most of us have at least 100 friends or more.

I wish that was an option, but I haven't seen it yet.
