Would it just be wrong to sell 3 pistols to fund the purchase of 1?

Hell, I sold 4 pistols to pay for 2/3 of this, and saved up the other $1k while I waited the 11 months for it to come in after I ordered it... So, I see no problems with that...

This isn't a regular production gun but a Custom Shop Springfield

I sell a gun to pay for another all the time... I did sell a Beretta 90-Two 4 years ago (which I won for free) and a telescope setup to pay for my first PS90...

Have you ever sold anything directly to Champions?

Only 1 time - an HK P30L that did not work right on the first range trip.. I had had enough, and traded it in.

You will lose your shirt on a trade in. But, in that case, the gun wasn't working right, and I had enough. I did not feel right selling it... What is irritating is that it worked fine for 2 employees, but not me. I've never limp wristed a gun in my life, but there was some issue with the way I shoot and held the gun. I couldn't trust it, because it seemed to be a "me" issue...

I would not recommend a trade in... You will lose a lot...

I can sell a gun in 1 week or less 90% of the time by plastering about 12-14 different sites with an ad. With Houston, Waco and Austin fairly close, I have no problems getting a face to face sale.

Ha, we should start an insurance thread.

My agent wanted a list of make, model, serial, and pics to schedule my stuff.  I said she can have a dollar amount, and that's it.
