Ok, I am Beretta 90-Two less...
« on: February 25, 2011, 06:41:53 PM »
Well, I am down from 6 Beretta 92s (of different variants) to 5. I tried to like "the Dash"... I really did.

I actually WON one in 2006, but sold it unfired to help pay for 1/2 of my PS90... I found the grip to slippery... Then last year, I started to collect different variants, and I bought another...

But I find that I like guns that I can put rubber grips on. And that sorta leaves out polymer guns (I do not like the slip on grips). I have tried 3 or 4 alternatives to try to get rubber onto the Dash's grip - nothing proves satisfactory... 2 days ago, I gave up and put it for sale. Had a deal worked out in less than 24 hours, and now I sold it locally this evening...

But, don't feel bad... I will be using the $ to buy a second 92A1 model :) - So, I will be back up to 6 Berettas again very soon :)

I think the 92A1 is my fav 92 variant model out of the 5 current production models: 92FS, M9, M9A1, 90-Two and 92A1....

I basically will have a set of 3 (92FS, 92A1 and M9A1) to shoot and carry, and a second set of all three to save in the safe, with just occasional usage. I plan to let my son pick one of those 3 saved Berettas for his own when he gets older...

You need to get that 8045 Cougar, you have the grips for it. :D
Cougars are shy, reclusive, and downright mysterious... :icon_wink:

Haha, yea, I will after I pay off that 1911 I have on lay-a-way.

But, I want to replace that sold Beretta with another 92A1. I'll either buy one locally or hit the next Reliant gun show in May..

So when are you picking up your full rail operator?

Probably end of april, first week of May. I have until 5-3.

I sold an HK P2000, but the guy lives in South Texas. He mailed me the $, but he cannot come get it until the very end of March. So, i'm kinda stuck sitting on that $. I cannot spend it in case he backs out the deal for some reason... I have to wait until he takes possession of the gun... Then, I will likely keep saving for 1 more month after that... So, end of April probably...
