I have a Cold Steel Recon 1 Tanto (Combo Edge) and a "throwaway" GI Tanto (with paracord handle wrap) but my girlfriend has no idea what happened to our digital camera.  I also have a Benchmade H&K pocket knife (nothing special...more of a collector's item than EDC).

I'm trying to find my S&W knife to put with the picture.  When I find it I'll post mine.

I have a Gerber Bear Grylls Ultimate survival knife, and the Bear Grylls scout.  I also have a cheap walmart machete($7), a cheap sword from a small town fair($12) and another cheap sword that was given to me.  Then I have a cheap switchblade that was given to me and a cheap S&W Cuttin' Horse($6) from Dollar General.

I actually like the $6 S&W knife the most.  Go figure.

My current favorite is a cheapo/freebie NRA by Stone River.
Will track down the Beretta and take a pic of them both soon.

Its gotta be a 92 for me to be interested.

I've never been a knife guy. Too many close calls with knives when I was a kid.

What's the matter with y'all? Those knives look like they never get used! I love good knives, but all of mine are users, so they all tend to have marks on them and not be as purty as the ones pictured.

The top one is my work knife.  You may be able to tell that I broke the tip off and instead of replacing it under warranty I put a curve back on it and sharpened it back up.  Now I can use it to pry on stuff, lol.  The other's I rotate when I am not in work clothes.  I always have a pocket knife.

I have no idea what this one is.

This one is a Smith & Wesson Cuttin Horse Tanto.

Gerber Bear Grylls Ultimate Survival Knife

Gerber Bear Grylls Scout

This one is some Gerber knife I found.  It desperately needs a good sharpening.

40k. that last one you posted is one I had previously. It originally had rubber'ish pads in the front strap crescent area.
Decent cheap knife with a very comfortable grip till those pads break off and it becomes very uncomfortable to hold.

Here are some pics of a Cold Steel Recon 1 Tanto (combo edge) where I resurfaced the G10 pocket clip area so it doesn't tear up my pants pockets.  I used 3M Sandblaster sanding blocks and Forever Black tire gel.

This is just prior to my 2nd attempt (1st attempt was a trial run and now I wanted to REALLY sand it down):

Prepping for resurfacing (using triple-layered masking tape):

Finished mod:

Just got this one.  Inexpensive and nice looking.  Spring assisted too.  Only problem is it's made in commie land and was shipped from California.

Sounds redundant but nice looking knife at least.

This karambit by Fox Knives of Italy is my EDC.

And this Buckmaster 184 is for...let's say home use.

I think that Buckmaster is a cool design but those spikes make it awkward as heck to grip.

Oh yeah those spikes can be unscrewed and stored away. Apparently, those are supposed to act as anchor points for when the knife is deployed as a grappling hook.  :afraid4:

Yeah I figured it would be used as a grappling hook but didn't realize the spikes were removable.
Sounds much smarter now.
