3-7 yards. 15 sometimes to press my luck lol.

No kidding. I've tried 25 yards once. But, further than that is too hard on my eyes...

Usually between 3 to 15 yards, for SD practice. Now with some pistols, we stretch it out to 50 yards, but that is more for fun and bragging rights!

My set up currently on the land is approx 17 yds from where we shoot under the cover to the back stop.
As I plan to relocate/rebuild/redesign my backstop soon I plan to set it at 25 yds.
Do have the flexibility to move closer or farther back since I am the range owner.

In the near future I will get my long distance back stop put in place it will be put at approx 125-150 yds and done so the shooting platform can be used for both short and long range.

I carry a Colt snub so 10 - 20 feet. 3-4 inch revolvers out to 25 feet and occasionally 30 feet. Six inch revolvers out to fifty feet and beyond if I'm using a bench.
Small auto loaders (Beretta 950 .25 ACP and CZ 50 .32 ACP) 7 to 15 feet. Medium autos (Bersa .380 and Shield EZ .380) out to 25 feet. Larger frame autos (FN 5.7 and Ruger 1911 .45 ACP) out to 40 feet but I'm really not accurate at distances more than 25 feet.
I'm not hesitant to shoot my PMR 30 22 WMR rimfire auto loader with Burris red dot out to fifty yards and beyond.
