Suggestions for game cameras
« on: February 16, 2011, 06:20:58 PM »
Just got on a new deer lease and I'm thinking of buying a game camera.
Any body have good or bad experiences or opinions about what to look for/what to avoid?
 Brand recommendations?
Also, how can I view what the camera has captured if I don't have a laptop out at the lease?
Sorry for all the questions, I'm new to using game cameras and have no experience with them.

Cmon, I know some of you have had good/bad experiences with game cams. Tell me what you think about what you've got.
Do the IR cameras work or is it a waste of money?

Well, I've decided to get a Primos truth Cam 46.
Just gonna wing it since I haven't got any feedback. I'll post up some pics and a little review once I get it and figure out how to use it...

I wish I had some suggestion, but that's a topic I know nothing about. I see them in the catalogs all the time, but as I am not into hunting, I don't know the particulars. Sorry.... Hope the one you chose works well :)
