My yugo SKS
« on: July 25, 2020, 04:48:02 PM »
Just did a MOD to my SKS as I found a Bipod that when removing the bayonet it mounts
to the bayonet bracket .
Can't wait to get to the range to try it out.

Yes Nato plz pics. I want to see what it looks like.
Does yours have the flat blade bayonet. Mine is the round style.
Mine is a Norinco all #s match. I also have the extended 15 rd mag but have not swapped it in.

JMHO- I have some 30's but to me the regular stock
10 rounder is more practical, and I put mine back.
Mine is similar to the photo, but has a red fiberglass
stock and I put a muzzle device on it and the bayonet
had to come off to make it work. I haven't missed it
anyway

I sure hope you kept all the OEM fittings. They'll probably add $200-$350 to the price tag just in historical value to collectors depending on where it came from and when; SKS's have practically doubled in price in the 15 years since I first saw them being sold by the dealers that advertised in Shotgun News. They're only going to continue appreciating in value as time goes by.

Yeah I dont plan to install it. And Id never mod the gun to accept AK mags.
I have over 100 stripper clips and they get it done efficiently once your accustomed to them. You can strip 10 in to it in about 2-3 secs.

Not ever likely to “need” the bayonet but it does look cool.
