Got up this morning and it was cloudy so I got the grass cut before it got to hot out there.
It was very humid tho and when done I looked and felt like  I just got out of a pool.

Just had a good 30 minute rain.

It's been raining again here off and on since last night about midnite. I need to check the rain gauge again.

We had a cool down,  and a helluva 2 day drizzle from your TX hurricane. It made it clean to PA. And boy did we need it.

My yard is green again and my ponds are full.

Still dont need to mow, but whatever. Just glad we got some rain.

We got another 2.5" the day before, and another 1.5" yesterday.

Spent about 3yrs looking finally ran across this 10.5ac but had to go 80mi east of SATX to get affordable.
Closer to metro was 4-5k an acre more.

I mowed my place on Monday. The ground was finally dry enough, but even around noon the grass was still pretty wet from all the humidity. There was a decent breeze blowing,so it wasn't too bad even though it started getting hot/humid.

Well mowing came to a stop yesterday afternoon. I broke about 2" off the end of the blade, and it got way unbalanced! Need to find a new blade for it.

And until it dries up a bit more, I'll have to wait to use the riding mower, since it's on the other side of the property, and the trails are under water and way muddy.
