Poll on Burger King's Impossible Whopper: Have you tried it?
« on: November 28, 2019, 06:05:28 PM »
Have you tried the "Impossible Whopper" from Burger King?
If you have, what did you think?

My Dad wanted to try one so we went to BK.  I found it to be pretty good overall.

Poll attached.

100% agree with 308NATO
"The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."

Nope. Not going to. IMO, hamburgers are suppose to be beef. I'm not a vegan, or vegetarian, so I won't even consider it.

ANYTHING they serve sends me to the toilet with an INSTANT  belly ache. Dont know if it's their grease, meat,  or what.

I can eat mac d's. Fish or chicken,, but that's it.

So no thanks.

On the other end of the spectrum, I'll eat it if it tastes good. Being vegan or not vegan makes no difference to me (mind you, I haven't found much vegan stuff that tastes worth a damn).

I'm gonna try it eventually, but, I'm going to order a Texas Double Whopper with plenty of onions, bacon, and Jalapenos just in case it tastes disgusting, because I love Burger King.

Rarely eat "fast food" and can't remember the last time I went to Burger King. My occasional go to places for burgers or sandwiches are Whataburger (Monterrey Melt), Dairy Queen (Dude) and almost any sandwich from Arby's. My granddaughter is a Chick fil a oholic and she occasionally brings Papa one with extra pickles.

For the record I find anything "vegan" abhorrent but will never say never. I used to say I'll never eat sushi but I'm a sucker for a California crab/lobster roll with Wasabi now.

I agree with you to a certain extent, but I will counter with that human beings are historically meat eaters! :rocknroll2:

We just got a new Burger King earlier this year, after being absent from one for over twenty years. We have eaten there a few times, and it's pretty danged good.

There's Chicken Burgers.  Pizza Burgers.  Fish Burgers (and Tacos!), and quite a few other "Burgers".
If you try it and like it, great.  If not, no worries.  It's an option.

I'll take a steak any day of the week, and I thought it tasted pretty much like a regular hamburger.  The cholesterol is very low, and I'd bet most people can't tell the difference in a blind taste test.

What did you think about the non-meat Impossible Whopper?

Isn't that like going to a whorehouse and ordering an inflatable doll?

Or a hand job.

Gets the job one but sorta leaves ya wanting something more.
