I am sooo glad I don't live in California!
« on: October 11, 2019, 05:49:55 PM »
Just read where Kalifornia Governor signed more anti-2nd amendment laws today.  It's got to be really bad living there.  Now just about anybody can swear out a Red Flag complaint and the poor person on the receiving end doesn't know anything until the police show up.  The police also get search warrants if the "flagged" person doesn't give up all firearms immediately.  Those "flagged" will have a one or five year suspension of their Constitutional rights "but can appeal for a reduction".

An honest constitutional judge in CA?  Now that is delusional and grounds for a red flag for anyone who believes it.
I'm on the 7 day weekend plan.  I'm retired!!

I lived in California for 20 years as a potential felon, because I refused to register my firearms. I am very happy to be here in Texas.

I spent my 1st forty years as a Californian and watched as it transformed from perhaps the best State in the Union to what it's become now - yeah I know this is a "gun" forum but there's a whole lot of "other" crap that has ruined Kalifornia (beside their 2nd amendment issues) - too bad

my buddy, who along with me grew thru the good years in California, is now a resident of Washington State - he says that beautiful State is well on it's way to the same fate (and I'm guessing that Oregon is already well into the downward slide)

makes ya wonder "what the hell is wrong with people" - a cancer from within and people (at least 50% of our population) are too dump to see it

Texas better be on alert (right Austin/Houston, et al)

California always was it's own worst enemy. That state thinks up the most idiotic retarded laws, then they show up in New York.and spread.
California is like a parasitic virus that has no  cure.
And they go out of their way to ban the only cure.  :th_thicon_idea:

California always was it's own worst enemy

actually, IMHO, that's not the case - starting in the '60s 'twas the carpetbaggers and feather merchants who brought their screwed up, liberal ideology from other States across the Country and turned a wonderful State into the festering hellhole it is today

There’s a good article in Investor’s Business Daily that qualifies the +’s and -‘s in Kalifornia:  Silicon Valley and digital media are keeping the state alive... until the next recession.  Then a drop in revenues is going to put the world of hurt on the state:

I read about this yesterday. This is bad for law abiding gun owners.

You couldn't pay me enough to set one foot in that state.

Hou
Dal
Aus
Heck almost ever major metro in TX is slowly sliding left. Hope we have enough true Texans and real Americans here to stave off the onslaught.

I’m m technically an Okie (arguably the most conservative state in the nation), but been voting in Texas since 1974. Is that close enough?

See above as I failed to quote as I had intended.
