it's a money grab. States don't get the big tobacco dollars like they used to. so they need a new sin tax .

They also warn against
Vaping
Smoking
Drinking and Drinking and Driving
Texting while driving
The list is endless.

Freedom in America is all about choice and the ability to make your own.

Sure its a “shame”

myself, i'm all for freedom of choice.
it's when folks won't own up to the consequences of their poor choices
and blame objects and companies for their own shortcomings.
"big" oil, "big" tobacco, "big" pharma, big this big that,
nasty evil guns, nasty evil fertilizer, nasty evil cargo pants, nasty
evil vests, so on so on.
or get high or drunk and tear up property or injure or kill someone.

Why continue to make it illegal? Social prohibitions never work. Are you going to criminalize salt, sugar, and bacon because overuse is harmful to one's health? It should be my choice to decide what goes into my body. If my choice harms someone else, then I should suffer consequences.

Do yourself a favor, find America One News Network (OANN) on your cable carrier. 208 on Uverse. News without the Network BS or bias

I have seen a lot of new stories in the last few days about how dangerous this is, especially to younger people whose brains are still growing. Apparently, it can have some serious, lifelong issues if they use this stuff while growing.

I couldn't care less about what you do to your body but second hand smoke for 1 thing and I won't mention how dangerous this makes driving under the influence can be  - this is total fill-the-coffers nonsense - brought about by the new generations of "me, me, me" morons

I care:  Stupidity by an individual can be incredibly expensive for society:  Not wearing a motorcycle helmet then having a -vegetative-state-resulting head accident, burning out your body or brain with drugs, (but not leaving this world), or engaging in other hazardous activities that's going to require very serious funding by society for very long periods of time.

Your right.
People should not be allowed to make choices.
The government should dictate all we do have access too.
The government needs to protect us and keep us safe why do they allow us so many choices.

OH YEAH.

FREEDOM.

Should society pay for every stupid act of individuals?

Why then don’t we just eliminate all laws Shield?

I personally do not like illegal drugs, and I want nothing to do with anyone who uses them (in my personal life).

I don't use them, and I get by.....

Well what are you doing around illegal drug users. Cant get second hand smoke unless your in close proximity to someone smoking it.

We tolerate drunk drivers and prosecute those who violate the law.

Not advocating drug use by any means.

Does society pay for every individuals stupidity now. ?

In $$ Yes and in other ways as well. Maybe not every stupid act but for alot of them we do.

DWI is illegal and yes we(society) pay the costs of others stupidity. In lives lost and keeping um in the jail/prison that aint free.

When some idiot shoots up a bar or walmart we as a whole pay in many ways.
