Kroger charges more for groceries than HEB, I found. You aren't really saving anything  :P

Never pay attention to gas prices. Both my Ford F350 & VW Passat are diesels. The wife drives a gasser (Ford Expedition), but she buys her own fuel.

Diesel around Richmond/Rosenberg can be had for $2.49
9MM may expand, but .45 ACP never contracts!

Seems around SA metro that 1.99 to 2.15 depending on location and station.

I only use Valero Shell or Exxon simply because all gas is on gas cards and pd every mo in full as I refuse to put my Debit or CC in the pump scanner.

Been doing it that way for many yrs now.

It's a damn shame fuel separates after a while unless you load it down with fuel stabilizers.

If it were like meat where you could freeze and keep it indefinitely, I'd try to figure out how to bury a 1,000 gallon tank in the back yard where we can store a bunch of gas now that the price is cheap, for when it'll go back up to $3 a gallon. :th_thicon_lol:

I found some ground meat in the freezer yesterday that was 8 months old. I asked a couple people and also looked online. Online it says to toss it after about 4 months. Some sites claimed it would still be safe to eat (but not taste as well and the texture might be different), some said not to eat it.

I ended up throwing it away.
