Ship, I still like the music from the 80's as well!  :th_thicon_idea:

And of course Shield has probably named just about every band in rock for the last 60 years or so!  :rocknroll2:

I recently discovered Sabaton. They are pretty great. Metal bags that sings about history.

For example, this is about Audie Murphy:

Also, they have a history channel where they talk about the songs and the actual inspiration behind them :

Fall Out Boy

My Chemical Romance

Ugh, seriously:th_thicon_lol:

Joking aside, I'm not teasing you so much as I am a little bit dismayed. Those bands were extremely popular with the teeming hordes of hormone-challenged "Nobody understands me!" teeny bopper girls I knew back in middle school and high school that were crushing on every member of the band; it's a free country, but someone of your demographics wasn't originally my idea of a typical fan. Out of curiosity, do you also listen to Good Charlotte, Linkin Park, Panic! At the Disco, and Three Days' Grace too?

Thread Tax: I don't really listen to "Rock" and "Heavy Metal" is the least heavy of all the metal genres out there. That said, I still like to listen to "Welcome To The Jungle" by Guns'N'Roses every once in a while............ And that's about it I think? Wait, no, "Cowboys From Hell" was pretty good. And so was "War Pigs".

Honorable mentions (IE: Metal):
Inferi
Slaughter To Prevail
Infant Annihilator
ArchSpire
Rings of Saturn
Mayhem
Meshuggah
The Clockwork Deity
Cannibal Grandpa
