Thats a buy. Nice find. 👍

Back before obummer was sworn in, we had a local lgs going outta business sale.
They had Wolf 5.56 on sale for $79  per case.

Guess what I did?  😁

I love my AK and my SKS both are fun to shoot.

I love my AK and my SKS both are fun to shoot.

It's an amazing weapon that can take more abuse and still function than any weapon I've ever had.
It wasn't difficult to get the AK to 'bounce fire' a full mag in about 3 seconds (well before bump stocks became popular).

When I got my AK it came with a Tapco G-2 trigger which is a sweet one.
With the price that they are at now I don't think I would buy one.

I only have one AK Bulgarian SLR 95 and I should've stockpiled more AK rounds.

I have over 3k 762x39 on hand

I also have 3 rifles for it
SKS
AK47
Windham AR15 in in ruskie cal
Swap uppers and its a 223/556 or 300 BO shooter as well. Same lower/mag well accepts std AR mags or specific made AK mag to fit in AR mag well.

$205? Damn! I bought my first case of 7.62x39mm for almost twice that when I first got into guns (.....which unfortunately happened to coincide with Obama's first swearing-in)!

I can't remember if it was Apex or e-Sarco, but keep an eye out on them come black Friday. They used to have a sale on their AK-47 mags -- European surplus steel mags in good shape, 10 for $110 including shipping!

I have just never been a huge fan of the AK. I understand why they are popular, and even appreciate their design. Fun to shoot, but I have don't really have any burning desire to own one.

I'd rather have an SKS instead.

Basically same.
SKS heavier and more accurate.

However my AR platform 7.62x39 will out shoot both my AK and SKS as far as accuracy.

I feel the 7.62 cal AR is better that a 556/223 cal AR.

I just like the SKS over the AK. They do seem to be more accurate.

I did a little over a month ago, get to shoot my friend's AR in 7.62x39. Pretty danged cool! I was shooting high of the target and shot a small 3" diameter pine tree, that was directly behind the target, and almost cut it down!
