I got the battery for my scope at AutoZone. Most of these “things” use a battery that is readily available.

Tell ya what Axxe,, while I was always a big beretta 92 fan,, and EDC one for 20 or more years.  My CZ pcr with a 3.8 inch barrel hold tighter groups @ 25 or 50 yards,  than my 5'barrel 92s.
The 4.8 inch CZ 75 bd,,, is just incredible.

I bought my now X wife,, a cz rami,, I believe maybe Nato308 Carrys one,,, and while I never could get the hang of that little bugger,, she was scary with it to 25 yards.
IMO,, The Rami has more of a baby 1911 feel to it. It didnt feel right in my hand. Almost like I was going to drop it. My pinkie wasnt even on the grip,, which threw me off I think.

But the ergos  on the compact and full size 75 series  fit me like a glove.

I have the 14 rd. mags that gives it a full grip like the 75.

Yes 308,,,, we also go her the mag extender. It helped me a little but not much, lol.
Fyi,, not only do my 14 round Pcr n p01 mags run in the rami. My 16 round full size 75bd mags also run like a charm.

I also want a Five-Seven some day. I haven’t shot the pistol before, but I have shot an AR57. It was nice.

I'm try'n to fix it, but I still don't have a CZ based on the 75 platform.  Strange to specify, but CZ owns Dan Wesson and I love my Silverback; heck the modern 715 parts even work on my Monson 715.

I'm struggling through pulling the trigger on a Cajunized 75 Compact or a Shadow II.  It's gonna come down to which one I trip over with an overstuffed wallet first.  So just stuffing the wallet in anticipation.

I gave up my dream of a LNIB S&W Md 27 with 3.5" bbl.  I just can't get there from here with Social Security.  BUT I've been looking for a Browning Hi Power.  My LGS, Blackjack Gunsmithing has 5 different ones, but I can't get the price I need.  So.... I bought a new in box Turkish clone by Regent, the BR9.  Should get it late next week.  If you don't look close, it'll pass for a Hi Power, but it comes with adjustable sights!

Anyway, just wanted to keep the dreams going.

Would like to get a couple Freedom Arms. The 252 & 555. Can't really justify buying them, so haven't made a serious effort. I have a 353 & a 454, so a 252 & a 555 on either end of the series would make a nice run of the models ( 252,353,454,555 ).

I've shot the Barrett single handed (that's really tough considering it weighs 35 lbs), but would love to at least shoot one of these once:

World war 2 German Luger
"The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."

I've always wanted a 1911 chambered in 9mm, or a 2011.  Unfortunately im not even in the double digits for # of guns owned so the list is long!  :P I've been interested in building one from an 80% but 1911/2011 require alot of special tooling so maybe one day!
I really enjoy the process of building though, get to learn how everything functions and if anything ever has issues its much easier to figure out if you assembled it.
A little off topic but I've been wanting to get an AK.  Would love to build one also, but AK build requires special tooling too so will most likely end up buying one.  If anyone has any recommendations ive just started to research brands that make quality AKs.
My uncle had a Chinese pre assault weapons ban and that thing ran like a champ and was extremely accurate compared to some other AKs ive shot.

World war 2 German Luger

always wanted one and wound up with 2 (Lugers)

top :       P06 (1912 build) DWM built, 7.65mm (.30cal) pristine condition - my "collectable", will never shoot it (note the grip safety)

bottom :  P08 (1938 build - my birth year) Mauser built, 9mm (.3543cal, excellent condition - my "shooter" (PO8s stopped builds with grip safety - other subtle differences from PO6)

both German made - both use 8rd mags and the mags for the 2 calibers are interchangeable
