Sanders placed the tran flag to the left of the American flag, all other flags should be to the right of the American flag. More disrespect.
"The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."
- Thomas Jefferson, Commonplace Book (quoting Cesare Beccaria), 1774-1776

As far as I'm concerned, ANY politician, who dishonors a serving member of military or a veteran or out flag, will NEVER EVER get my vote.

I may never have served, but those serving in our military, and veterans are held in very high regard around the Axxe household.

We are not speaking German or Japanese as the official languages thanks to the veterans of WW2!

I respect that they served US.
I dont have to like or support them politically. Or respect there political practices.
However to me service is service and they (military vets) deserve recognition and respect for that.

There is a pretty thin line between a Veteran that served his country honorably, regardless, of circumstance,

and those who served  only themselves or committed outright treason against their fellow soldiers and or country.

Given the facts of their service,
I put kerry and mccain in the latter category.

They would never get any respect from this veteran. IMO, They dont deserve it . Both should have been court marshalled.
Politicians are like diapers, they should be changed often, and for the same reason.

I'm a Vet who had 9 years in the Army - I've met, served with and seen thousands of other Soldiers and I (respectfully) disagree with the statement that "anyone who has Served deserves one's respect" - this is from my 1st hand experience

period, end of statement

Let me clarify, or re-phrase my previous comments. Anyone that has served with distinction, and honor, I respect and hold in high regard.

John Kerry by his own words and actions afterwards, dishonored himself IMO. Kerry, being a traitor? If he's not, he sure got pretty close to the line of being one.

McCain, I'll reserve judgement there. He did serve, was a POW, but and I think that deserves a certain amount of respect in itself. As a politician, I do think he played a little bit of obstructionist with Trump on many issues. Maybe one might term McCain a RINO.

Nope.

There are exceptions yes.

In most cases those who have served I respect their service.

oh, so now you're changing the criteria one needs to get your respect -  and making "some" exceptions.....that was the point of my original post - "not all Vets are stalwart individuals"

Shield 45 I think you need to really dig into McCain's military record for all the crap he did before and
after his becoming a POW.
I personally will never respect the man.

Speaking or frauds...
AOC held a fun run this weekend, charging entrants $30 each, but not telling them it was a donation ($11K in total) to her campaign.
