That's what I end up with, a bigger mess to clean up!  :bangheadonwall:

The REAL problem with garages,, and their Size,, is they are generally ALREADY FULL,, BEFORE you even build them.  :th_thicon_lol:

Hopefully next year, I plan on building a large carport, to store some things under. Yep, my garage is pretty full, and was by the time we moved into the house.

I also have so much stuff that I can only get one car in my 3 car garage.

The way my garage is designed, the only type of cars that would fit, would be a couple of Smart cars! That's if I cleaned out everything else first.

When my coffee pot slows down I put about  2cups of white vinegar threw it  and run it threw a coffee filter
to catch all the minerals and run it threw a second time.

My old one was still brewing just fine, just the heating element would go out after about fifteen to twenty minutes, so by the last couple of cups of coffee, I was having to warm them up in the microwave.

About every two months, I do run the vinegar through mine to clean it out though.

I did get fifteen or sixteen years from the old coffee-maker. So, I got my money's worth from it!

It's a "two for the price of one" package deal:

Shared in this thread because the info is generally useless to me, as I'm not big on S&W and thus not currently in the market for one, but I think a few members here liked their 'Shield'-series pistol.

Duly noted! But it really was the coffee maker this time, and not me that was getting tired and not working properly!  :rocknroll2:

Axxe sometimes around here we have to run a lil vinegar through the ol coffee maker. Cleans out the lime build up. Not sure you have the good ol hard water in your parts we have here. 15 yrs for a coffee maker is awesome 2 or 3 is long lived one here even with cleaning they just get too slow.....

As for garages I added a bay and 1/2 to the rear of my 2 car attached garage and I have a 20x20 metal shed in the back. Added the bay and 1/2 yrs ago as I needed the space to build this car I was doing at that time.

The shed is for storage of lawn mowers weed-eaters and excess shiat one collects over 40 plus yrs of being away from the nest....

Now the extra bay is mainly my man cave area and used for working on whatever I may be at the time.

Yes its a drive through to the back.

With the land now and the divorce yrs back costing me the car I have gotten away from the car scene like I was in to.

Now my dilemma is to decide what where and whne/how I will build etc on the land for retirement.

Gonna HAVE to upgrade.

Got a couple yrs to decide that and get things in place.

Shield, our water is pretty good around here. We are on a community well system an the water seems pretty decent. Not hard, but not too soft either. Tastes decent too.

Yeah, I was pleased to get the number of years from that coffee maker! So having to buy a new one didn't bother me in the least. I did keep the pot, because it will fit the new coffee maker, and that gives me a spare in case I happen to break one. Plus, it uses the same filters as the old one. Another good thing. It makes a pretty decent cup of coffee too!  :rocknroll2:

Shield, your out of town place is looking pretty good. Looks like a nice place to retire to later. Enjoy it.  :th_thicon_idea:

Axxe
Keeping the old pot is a good idea. Just went through NOT having a spare as I broke mine.
Went to Wally World bought what I thought was gonna fit. Duh there was a reason it was only 5 bucks. Was a four cup pot. A reason to remember your glasses so you can read the box.

The Donderosa as I call it is coming along slowly. However Im in no hurry and it gives me an escape on weekends. Oh and a place to shoot as much and as often as I choose.

Thanks for the props.

This was bad arse on Friday night moon rise.

Whats funny is in my neighborhood all the houses have 1 or 2 car attached garages. Besides me parking in mine about 1 or 2 others use theirs for their car/truck. Everyone keeps their 30 dollars of junk in their garage and their 30k vehicles in the driveway.

Weird.

All my life if we had a garage with the house we lived in dad parked cars in it. Found other places for the stuff.

We also have a “3 something” garage.
My Chevy silverado fits with 2” in the front and 2” in the back. Needless to say I had to build a little indicator that shows me when I’m just in far enough.

I had that too Shield... till I noticed that unless I was laterally within about 6” of the centerline, the windshield was curved enough I might be up against the wall but just touched the ball. I now have a 1x2 hanging down 2” from the front wall. When I touch that I’m just in.

Front for me is non issue as I have a pass through to the back bay I just need to be in so the bumper is clear. Also have to stay close to sides on both car and truck or cant get in car or passenger side of truck. Door care is high priority.

this was our place 2 homes ago - doesn't show the 4 car garage (which I managed to keep full of vehicles and "stuff") - 1 acre and we loved the place (pics don't show the garage).....but that's when we became interested in adopting Horses and 1) not allowed there.....2) too small a property

https://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/18835-Mystic-Pt_Montgomery_TX_77356_M74958-16370

so we sold and bought a smaller house, in the semi-country - gained a couple more acres, lost about 1000 sq ft of house (which was "ok" - just the 2 of us) but also lost 2+ garage parking spaces ..... so had a 30x40' shop built and that held everything

https://www.har.com/12910-s-lee/sold_7223865

now into our "forever" place - but back to a smallish 2 car garage (holds 1 of the trucks - the other is left outside) - have built a Barn for the Boys (our 2 adopted rescued Horses) and trying to figure out the best place for a shop - don't want to obstruct any of our views but still want it close to the house ?????

I'm thinking we could simply "add on" to the existing garage to create 2 or 3 more parking spaces, get rid of that grassy mound (on which there used to be a tree) and put in more concrete that would lead to the new parking spaces - least intrusive of any new construction

Those are some beautiful houses Tango.

The last place we lived before moving here to the farm was outside of Conroe about seven or eight miles off the feeder road on I-45.
