Well thats the good thing about Tractors. They last as long as you care for them well.
I am hopeful my new 2018 will last me as long as Im around to make use of it.
So far in about 35 hrs I have put on it since 3/14/19 purchase I am confident it will.

That is the key thing Shield, taking care of them. Now we use our equipment like they are  meant to be used, but we try not to abuse them, and take care of the maintenance.

That John Deere has never had the engine, trans or hydraulics rebuilt since brand new.
Yuppers. Ill do 1st oil chg at 50 hrs then every 50 after that.
I grease her each time before use. Im greasing her with a moly aviation grease high load low temp grease.

.
what a difference in cutting tall grasses after sharpening the Rotary Cutter's blades - no bending of the grass, no bogging down of the cutter (then the Tractor's engine rpm)

as smooth as cutting warmed butter with a hot knife

thank you Kobalt Electric Angle Grinder - wish I would have gotten you a year ago

('twas my 1st opportunity to mow today after sharpening the other day.....me likie  :th_thicon_idea:)

Between sharpening and the sand around here, I'm lucky to get a little over a year out of blades on the mowers.
