Flashlights, The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly!
« on: April 05, 2019, 07:13:02 AM »

i have to admit i'm a bit of a flashlight junky. i have probably more than 30 of all different types and keep them all over the place, such as the home office, the bedroom, the truck, my toolboxes and other places as well.

this thread would be a good place to tell about those we like and why we would recommend them, those we don't like and why and why some are better than others and those we use more than others. sort of like a non-technical review thread.

Streamlghts are my top quality flashlights. not the cheapest by a good measure, but are really top notch. i have four of them currently, and my newest one a Stylus Pro LED that uses two, triple "A" batteries is one excellent light so far. i got it late last year and just last week, put the first set of new batteries in it!

Streamlight Stingers are also top notch. the newer one i have is a C4 LED model and uses the same battery packs and charger as my older regular Stinger light does. i have a charger in my office and one in my truck. so even if the power goes out, i can use the charger in the truck to keep them charged up and i also keep an extra charger at work in my tool box if i need it there as well.

I got a Stylus Pro C4 LED late last year, and I carry it always and use it constantly, and I am still amazed at how much this light puts out for such a small light. And it goes forever on a set of batteries.
