My kids finally got me to watch Stanger Things. We watched all 3 seasons over the past few weeks. I actually liked it.

Is that the Netflix movie with Mark Wahlberg? That was a surprisingly good flick.

That was it. I thought maybe it was a remake of the old Spenser For Hire TV series. About the only similarities were the names of the characters, and the city.

Last several nights I have been watching various documentaries on the Titanic. They have some excellent documentary films on YouTube.

Which channel did you find that on? My brother and I loved watching that years ago.

The NBC website. If you google something like: Watch Original Battlestar Galactica online NBC" it should give you the link.

Their website sucks, though. They add commercials in places there were none. And, sometimes ya gotta restart because it freezes (just refresh the browser and it should start back where it was after a commercial). However - If ya stop in the middle of the episode and come back to the website, it does remember where you were at. So, that's good.

I actually ordered a used set of the DVDs on Ebay recently. But, I have like 4 episodes left, and I'm gonna finish them on the NBC website. They also have the newer series, but I prefer the original show.

I was 6 when it was on. I loved that show too.

I recently ordered a miniature of the Viper fighter, and it came in the mail about a week ago. It's pretty cool. When I was a kid, my mom wouldn't buy me any of the Galactica toys, since I had so much Star Wars stuff. So, I had this coming for about 40 years :P

Also watched the Spenser movie and it was ok .
I have read almost all of Robert Parkers Spenser books and Jesse Stone books also
and there are maybe 6or7 that I have to catch up on.

It really wasn't very much like the books about Spenser. The movie was decent. I have a couple of Parker's books about Spenser and like them. Haven't gotten around to getting the Jesse Stone series, but so far have all the DVD's of the movies. Tom Selleck plays an excellent Jesse Stone IMO.

The movie Extraction on Netflix with Chris Hemsworth is a top notch action flick. The director is the gunfight choreographer for the John Wick series of movies. He also plays the sniper in the early part of the movie. Highly recommend.

I was pretty put off at the beginning and the homosexual scenes but it turned out to be a pretty solid movie. I like a lot of his music and have seen him in concert a couple of times.

Thank goodness for fast forward! I knew EJ was gay, and they really could have just inferred those scenes rather than showing them.

Other than those few scenes, it was a really pretty good movie.
