.
one of the "tv nice things", after moving to e. tejas (from just north of houston), is that there's no Traffic Reporting during the local news (no traffic = no traffic news)

on the other hand.....the amount of wasted "news time" taken up by the weather reports - no rain, hot, humid (gee I just gave our weather report in 3 seconds/in 3 words.....why can't the hicks who run these tv stations do the same ?

give us more "news"/less "non-weather"   :frown:

If you have Amazon Prime watch The Expanse. It's awesome.

It's a hard-ish Sci-Fi where there's no real magic tech beyond engines efficient enough to accelerate at several G's for days or weeks. There's no artificial gravity, but ships are built like a skyscraper with the engines on the bottom, so that while your accelerating the thrust creates artificial gravity. But if you're just coasting it's float or use mag boots!

Anyway I can sing it's praises all day, it's good. Watch it.

A friend of my wife's, had all the complete seasons of "I Love Lucy" DVD's, and she didn't care for them, so she gave them to the wife. So for the past couple of days, we have been watching them and laughing our butts off!

Never watched any of the series (not my type of thing), BUT.... Having worked at not one, but five different packaging/distribution/inbound-outbound shipping factories and warehouses thus far, I can say that they NAILED the segment on what it's like to work in a high output production environment:

It was like watching that play out more or less the same way every week when we'd get a fresh shipment of new people.
