I'm planting additional sprinklers this year.  Does that count?

Just how do you harvest them? When do you know when to harvest them?  :wave1:

Thursday.  It's always a Thursday.

I thought it was on Tuesday's? Ummm....never mind. I had that mixed up with hamburgers on Tuesday's.  :icon_redface:

Nope.  Tuesday is trash pickup day.  You pick new sprinkler buds on Thursdays.

So is Wednesday's hamburger days then?  :th_nuts:

Always.  Why wouldn't the middle of the week be at Wendy's?

(And I Fixed it for you.)

Order of preference: Whataburger, Sonic, Wendy's, and Burger King!

And any day of the week is a Whataburger day!  :wave1:

If I plant corn, then maybe I won't have to buy so much to make corn liquor!  :wave1: :rocknroll2:

I agree with the first 3.

We got a brand new Burger King back in January, after being without one for over twenty years. The wife got a gift card for BK from one of her co-workers, so we tried it out a couple of months ago. I was actually impressed. The burgers were really quite good. So that is the reason they were placed fourth on my list.

I got squash, eggplant, cantaloupe and watermelons planted the other day. My brother is going to bring me an assortment of various hot pepper seeds to plant tomorrow.

Carrots and cucumbers went into the ground yesterday. Tomatoes are about an inch tall now. Last frost should be behind us as well. Various peppers are just starting to sprout.

With all the rain, and now some much needed sunshine, tomorrow, the wife and I are going to be transplanting some vegetables in pots into the garden. Got onions and eggplants and tomatoes to go in the ground tomorrow, along with planting some more cucumbers and carrots.

Potato plants are going like gang-busters. The carrots have sprouted up nicely. Squash is going pretty good. The tomato plants need to get going though.

Well it's time to start planning on the spring garden! I'm going to get started a little earlier than last year. Also going to buy tomato seedlings this year, instead of using seeds like last year.

Planning on tomatoes, hot peppers, cucumbers, potatoes, squash, and some other stuff!

I got started on my garden Saturday. Got some onions planted. Hopefully I'll be able to get my tomato and pepper plants this week and get them planted as well.

Not much gardening going on over here. About the extent of gardening activities we used to do, was to play everyone's favorite springtime game, "How the hell do we re-pot this monstrosity?" every year.

About 12 years ago, I bought a Golden Barrel Cactus from Wal-Mart that was about the size of a golf ball. Now, it's gotten to be about the size of a small beach ball and looks something like this one:

The first couple of years weren't too bad -- we'd use some tin snips to cut the plastic pot open and kind of roll it into a hole in the center of its new pot.

Then it continued to get bigger, and bigger, and way more gnarlier. I didn't know at the time how big or heavy they could get, or that the spines can get big and stiff enough to go STRAIGHT through leather welding gloves after only a few years of growing time (and that they live practically forever).

Now it's gotten big and heavy enough that we had to just leave it in the front yard. Eventually it CHOSE where it would live from now on, because by the time we finally worked up the nerve to try again, we'd noticed its roots had gone right through the bottom of the pot, meaning it can't be moved anymore. Sounds like we're just going to have to cut away the plastic and shore up the base with some earth and sand since it's staying put for the foreseeable future.

It's not even afraid of the cold. We got snow a couple years back -- it didn't miss a beat.

This CV19 thing put a kink in my gardening! I did end up buying one tomato plant at Lowes when I picked up the last of the lumber there!

Mowing is taking lots of time though. the ground is so wet, the grass is growing like crazy. I'm having to mow at least every three to four days.
