Training and a little luck can go a long way in saving your life.

Really scary. Last night on Live PD they had a similar situation. Perp was being extracted from a car by a cop, when all of a sudden the cop's partner jumped into the front seat from the other side and grabbed the perp's right hand. It was so fast you couldn't see it, but when the camera zoomed in, the perp had a gun that he had pulled from along side the console. Could have been a tragic  situation.
Do yourself a favor, find America One News Network (OANN) on your cable carrier. 208 on Uverse. News without the Network BS or bias

WOW.. just Wow.

That cop needs a medal.
His training was perfect.
And to prove it, he didnt shoot the kid running up behind him.
That kid is Soooooooooo lucky.

In slow mo,, The mans pistol looked like it had recoil,, so did he get off one shot, or did the cops 1st round actually hit the mans pistol or arm making it seem like recoil?  :thinker:
He was certainly intent on shooting a cop. And got dealt with in a proper manner.
Politicians are like diapers, they should be changed often, and for the same reason.

There are two kinds of people in the world my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. YOU DIG.  " Blondie".

Well, any man that wouldnt cheat at cards for a poke, dont want one bad enough. " Gus".

Holy f***ing Toledo, talk about a lightning draw.

What blows my mind is the only thing that probably saved him was taking the split second to smack the perp's weapon away with his bare hand -- in the single instant it took for the guy to reorient that pocket gun on target again, he was already getting his ticket punched. Wow!

Truly a next level performance on part of the officer.
