Ratchetbelts Mini Review
« on: December 09, 2018, 07:28:26 PM »
Just a mini review....

I had never heard of Slidebelts - they have a Ratchetbelt. I saw a review of it on The New Screensavers. Leo Laporte showed them off a few times, and I thought I would give it a try.

I ordered one with the 20% off code "TWIT" - so, it was not very expensive for the standard black belt.

It came in yesterday, and I set it up today. It really is a cool belt. You cut the belt to your size (it comes in longer - and it has measurements on the back to help you know where to cut it at)). And, it has a cool ratchet belt buckle that allows you to set it at any size. Very easy to adjust while wearing it, which can come in handy...

It's sort of a fancy web-belt style belt - but they make it in leather - not just the older military cloth belts that would allow you to set it at any size.  It makes a cool "ratchet" sound as you tighten it :D

Anyone else have one of these?

Just ordered a Black Leather and Black Canvas.  Using the same promo code, which helps.  The survival belts seem a bit pricey.

I got one a $38 black one and got 20% off (20% off the $38 normal price). It was not that expensive

I have a nexbelt tactical series. I really like it. To bad a rivet fell out. I will try to repair it soon. A very easy and comfortable belt to use.

Received my belts yesterday.  Easy to use, comfortable fit, well satisfied with the belts.

Yes - I have worn mine for a week now. I really like the belt.

I don't plan on using one as a gun belt - but for work or jut as a normal belt, they are pretty cool. I like that you cut them any length you want. I ordered a gun belt a couple of months ago that I ended up returning. And as every brand seems to measure belts differently - figuring out the size to order was a pain. Not so with this brand
