A pistol caliber carbine, though it might be a pistol setup with short barrel and arm brace to start out.
Most likely the Sig MPX Tacops (http://www.lipseys.com/itemdetail.aspx?itemno=SIMPXK9KMTACPSB)

Been entertaining the idea of a .45ACP carry piece (other than a 1911 model).  I keep running hot & cold on the idea.  When Im running hot on the idea, its usually between a Beretta PX4 Storm and the HK 45.

I'm hoping that with my last Luger my firearms buying days are over - can't see myself buying anything at all, and I'm OK with that

in fact I find myself shooting less and less - and to the point of not "carrying" anymore (tho I still have my firearms scattered around the house and in my vehicles)

Just fondled one this morning and it was listed at 1809 or 1899 at the gun show.  Its freaking heavy for what it is.

BAN HIM...  :P  :P :P

I get like that a lot of the times as Ive got every possible base covered 10 fold.  Then I run across something I cannot live without.
I am actually considering a mass sell off of guns I dont really shoot much anymore.
As for my next handgun... I am not sure, I dont need anything nor want anything but something will eventually find its way into my safe.

Like Tango the situation I find myself in is do I really need anything else. I've really slowed my roll on actively looking for older S&W and Colt revolvers. Not that I wouldn't buy another one if the price and condition match and the opportunity presents itself.
I have about everything I ever wanted and the things on my want list that I don't have are usually too expensive or unobtainable or both. That being said there is always something that catches my eye and lately it's the pistol caliber carbines. I've bought four in the last 18 months or so and there are new models coming on the market all the time.

S&W mod2 .40cal compact
Then my HG wants will be complete.
Long guns only one want currently.
Remington model 77 bolt action in 357 mag.
That will pretty much finish my want list of weapons.

The MPX is heavy anyways, so if it was the Tacops with faux suppressor I would expect it to be even worse.
The MPX carbine shoots extremely flat though, which is something I dig about it.

Several on the bucket list. Most harder to find stuff.
Probably depends on which one I run across first when I have the money.

CZ 1911 A1.
CZ 97 BD.
Windham R20 GVT A4.
Beretta 87 ss cheetah.

All just bucket list stuff, nothing I ACTUALLY need.  :P
Politicians are like diapers, they should be changed often, and for the same reason.

There are two kinds of people in the world my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. YOU DIG.  " Blondie".

Well, any man that wouldnt cheat at cards for a poke, dont want one bad enough. " Gus".

My Vector w/16" faux suppressor weighs less.

Next on my list is a Beretta 9mm model 92 CC II, stainless, type M,  8 round single stack.
That is IF I can find one. Ive been looking for almost a year with no luck.

Bring it to Shiloh for a match some time, I'd love to see/try it.

Either a CZ-75 SP-01 Phantom, a Gen5 Glock 17 with night sights, or a RIA model 51567 (a 14 round double stack 1911).

I would like the 1911 more than anything, but it's also the most expensive of the three, so that removes any edge it had over the others in terms of want; thus, they're all basically on equal footing.

seems you have your answer. Now you just gotta save the extra pennies.

BTW my last handgun purchase was a 45ACP double stack 1911 (2011)

I am steady roll'n with no list.  I'm not hunting anything at the moment.

But if a Dan Wesson 22lr Pistol Pack shows itself signficantly below market, or an STI well below market shakes its tail feathers at me or a Chiappa Rhino up and gives itself to me - I can become a buyer.  Theme here is:  willing to add pistols that complement my collection at unbelievable prices.

I've been building the foundation for my long gun collection.  And I still need a 22lr lever with a side loading gate or buttstock loading tube access.
