..AR to the range today..
« on: April 30, 2018, 03:15:25 PM »
Shooter's Station, Conroe.....they've got an indoor 100 yd rifle range (about a dozen lanes, I think)

I had taken off the Scope and the Laser a few days ago and I wanted to re-zero both (the Scope at 100 yds/Laser at 15 yds)

Had a good time on inexpensive (read = "cheap") Mondays (1/2 price range time = $10 per hour)

have a need for another Forum Shoot - need to wring-out that trigger  :th_thicon_idea:

wudda ya say - anyone up for another Madisonville shoot ?

now I'm (still) waiting for the 1935 Nazi P08 Luger that I've put my deposit down's being refurbished and refinished by a very good - well thought of (but  eccentric) craftsman (he's the fellow that is also building new Lugers in .45 caliber) - I'm really getting antsy to shoot some 9mm thru an 80+ y/o pistol

I have a newly built 5.56 M4, a newly built 7.62X39 M4, a 1951 waffle top with a "new" vintage Redfield aperture sight, and an AK47 that had the stock rear sight removed then reinstalled that all needed sighted in .... and there is no commercial range I know of near me.  One guy runs a range but charges $20+ per hour and doesn't allow you to pick up brass.  It's 30 minutes away in the middle of nowhere.
