San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Parking
« on: February 17, 2017, 05:32:45 PM »
Has anyone noticed 30.06 signs on entry to the public (paid) parking lots?  I've only been once this year, but notice the lower lot near the AT&T Center was posted as soon as you turn in to line up to pay.  Previous years was not the case.  Metal detectors & wands were fine with me to enter the Rodeo Performance but as many who attend are from out of town, you would think you could at least park in the lots without a problem.  I do understand and concur with the increased security inside as national and world events have dictated.

The World is divided into TWO groups:
1.Those with enough brains to carry a weapon
2.Those that do NOT have that much intelligence/judgment.

Imo, we NEED to encourage the 1st group to carry EVERYWHERE & try to keep "group2" to NOT even have access to a peashooter, as they might injure themselves with it.

Inasmuch as the outdoor areas of the Rodeo Grounds are a PUBLC area, .30-06 restrictions are NOT appropriate there.
