I was thinking of a Henry Mare's Leg just for fun..

It has nothing to do with ownership. I just simply stated that he needed one of those.
Secondly, my mother made him give it back. Lol

I've not been interested in a 1911 until someone let me hold one of these last month.

You guys have all those shiny expensive guns to show to your friends.  I will show my glock to my enemies. Besides I am not going to carry any firearm visible to the bad guys, makes me the first target.

Out perform your glock in every way?..interesting comment.  Help me to understand.  Do they hold more rounds, shoot more reliably, are them more accurate, are they easier to conceal?  I guess I understand if you can shoot them better I know I have some guns that for some reason I just shoot better.  Other than that How do they out perform your glocks?

Not trying to be a smart ass here just want to learn and understand.

Don't get me wrong... I have a few of those shiny guns also just don't use them other than a few rounds at the range a couple of times a year.  The glock 19 or M&P shield go with me everyday.

No, Yes, Yes, Yes.

Better triggers and real factory sights too..

I own 4 glocks + my wife's and have owned over 10.  So I am not exactly a hater.

But shiny guns are nice. There a reason people polish them.

Never experienced any jams or FTF's in a Glock. Their sights are kinda screwy but I learned to make do; around here, pistols go "missing" from evidence lockers pretty frequently, so I'm not sure I'd want a friggin' Les Baer Custom for CHL work anyhow. Given their price points and quality for the money, I'd rather have another CZ-75 or similar over a Glock, but, if arbitrarily given no other choice, Glock it would be.

My G17 is as accurate, reliable and holds more rounds than my 1911 (10 mm). It became as accurate when I changed to a Lone Wolf barrel. I had a CZ75B for a few years also an S&W 5906 both excellent pistols. I could have kept them. I chose not to. The worst P O S is/was the Sig P 250 F. I wasted my money on that one. I hear that Sig Saucer is a fine pistol but I can't bring myself to invest in another. I read other peoples opinions about pistols the liked/didn't like and make my own judgements.
