My wife has been prepping all day. Before I go off to bed at this late hour I’ll admit to snatching a piece of spiral ham, a deviled egg and a sausage ball. All consumed in a dark kitchen. I have no shame.   :thumbsup1:

Everyone have a blessed Thanksgiving!

Out of a crew of almost two dozen just on our shift, I was one of the lucky ones.... It's still not over for us.

It's not ideal, but ironically now more than ever I'm happy to remind myself that I'm fortunate enough to still HAVE a job to be held over on.

Hope everybody else has a Happy Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving Day to all of you as well. the wife and i cook up the bird the day before, let it cool, then slice it up. that way, it's at least one thing less to do on the day iteself.

in fact, here it is, we just had a lite breakfast, and we have already set up the table for our family.

all the "trimmings" are "de-canned" and sitting in pots/pans on the stove, waiting to be heated up.

the pies have been sliced.

and most of the garbage and  recyclables have been taken out....

whew......

holidays are MORE WORK, than any job(s) any of us ever had in our lives......lol

Just the wife and I this year as my one daughter has Covid and the other is going to Dallas to be with her daughter.
Hope everyone here has a safe and healthy  Thanksgiving.

Wow 308 that’s terrible to hear about your daughter. I hope she able to recover quickly.

My son and the majority of his family are at his in laws place at Hilltop Lakes. Oldest grandson had to work but he came by for a plate earlier this afternoon. My wife’s brother passed away earlier this year so we invited two young friends of his to break bread with us today. They really seem to be enjoying themselves.
