Thinking of heirloom gun/BBQ gun
« on: July 13, 2015, 09:23:04 PM »
I'm thinking about rewarding myself with a blinged-out 92FS. The problem is I don't know whether to go with a black engraved or Inox engraved. Here's a couple photos i pulled off the 'net:

I have seen some at Collectors Firearms in Houston over the years. They used to have more.

Not my thing, personally...

Just my .02 cents I'd go with the black one

I think the black is sexier. Finish is not something you need to worry about on a gun that you only handle a few time a year. Now if you plan on carrying it often, I would get stainless.

Brad sold me my BBQ gun, my Billennium, out of his personal collection. I have also bought several parts from him. According to that thread, he moved near Round Rock.

And I like the contrast of the black one.
