I have some Colt M4 and 1911 magazines. Dad has a 114 year old SAA in the family since new.  That's about it for me and Colt.

Three years ago I sent Custom Gun Smith Greg Derr a 1952 Colt Government .45 with a .38 Super top end both were poorly nickeled and one of the slides had been chrome plated for some magic.

Here's the before picture:



and an after image; with one of my Colt .22 Conversions added to the mix; Greg is also a professional photographer; my meager photos don't do them any justice

Lookin' good Chief. :th_thicon_idea: Hope you kept the bone grips. Going to pick up a set for my grandsons 1911 Commander for his birthday next month.
