Just read your other thread. You were way ahead of me. That thing will look so slick without that extra 8" of barrel sticking out. I hope you can get the barrel that you are looking for and somebody will take your money :th_thicon_idea:

Oh and i really like those p7's. I have never shot one but played with one a bit and really liked it. Not to mention i love almost every think HK makes(just cant afford any of it)

I definitely can't wait for my Form 1 to come back! Sssshh, don't tell the ATF, but:

Waiting and ready to slap this bad boy on  :thumbsup1:

If you ever get a chance, shoot a P7 :th_thicon_idea: It is by far the most balanced, easy to shoot and accurate pistol I've ever owned or had a chance to fire. It's currently also being used as my EDC and I'm anxiously awaiting my XD-S to come in so I can stop using it for carry. I hate seeing that old-school blued finish on my P7 getting more worn down in a holster.

Very cool UMP

:thankssign:

have a CHL, new to guns, decided on hk p2000 9mm v3, for my one all be all pistol. EDC & home defense (have a mossberg 12ga also for this), and fun range time. Now just need to wait a little till it arrives. Realize can get 2 guns for the price of one of these, but figure rather go for quality over qty.

What I've learned from shooting this gun and reading HKPRO is that there is a light and a heavy version. I am sure I have the light version.

The take-up is super long but very light. The trigger break is clean and smooth with minimal creep. The reset is damn near as short as a sig srt.

It is by far the most unique trigger I've ever used. Next year at this time I'm sure I'll be writing about my second p30 w/LEM. Once I get used to this trigger I will probably buy a second one.

You probably do. Most of the P30 LEM models that are sold commercially have the light LEM trigger. The heavy LEM is designed for law enforcement departments that require heavy trigger pulls such as the NYPD (though they use Glocks).

Curious, what kind of problems had you had with your old USP 9mm? Out of over 1000 rounds through my full-size 9mm and 500 through my .45 CT, I've never had any issues except for some failures to ignite with Tula .45ACP with the CT (not light primer strikes since it cycles everything else).

I had tremendous issues with fail to eject. In about 800 rds I had over 15 jams no matter the ammo, no matter how clean the gun was. By contrast I ripped the p30 right from the case and started punching paper. No issues at all through about 150 rds.

One thing I like so far is that I am more consistently accurate with it than my glocks.

Hi all! I am an HK Fan myself! I have a HK USP .45 Elite, and it's my carry weapon!  :rocknroll2:

I haven't been too keen on their other pistol models. I am still looking for a USP Compact Tactical in .45 for a reasonable price. I'd like to own a few instead of the one I have lol

Hmm If it shoots as good as it looks I may give it a go.  :th_thicon_idea:

I am looking for a used HK45 Tactical (or Tactical Compact) in Version 3... anyone have any leads on one in TX? It would most likely be a trade if one wanted a HK USP Elite with a bag full of goodies (Mags, holsters etc...)

I traded off the Colt Delta for this HK USP Compact. I figured the Tactical needed some company.

Very cool!!!

I have owned one before. But, it always shot low for me until I put in a lot of practice. I have the P2000, which is almost the same gun - and I don't have that problem with the P2000, a fullsize 9mm USP or the USPc in 45... Just the 9mm USPc one. I swore it was the gun until I benched it and saw it was me. It seems to be very, very easy to pull the gun down as you pull the trigger for some reason.

Curious to see what you think when you shoot it.

I'll let you know. I'm heading to get fingerprinted this afternoon so I'm going to hit the range with it while I'm out that way. I take the CHL test tomorrow and will be using the 45.  I think it might be sentient and doesn't miss, in spite of my shortcomings. It's way to big to carry so I  hope the compact fills that roll for me.
