The OFFICIAL Sig Thread!
« on: April 27, 2011, 09:19:01 AM »
Now that we have no "Groups" anymore, I thought I'd start these threads... Previously, there was a "group" for each manufacturer... One could talk about that brand and/or post pics.

Anyway, if ya got a Sig and are proud of it, this is the place to do a yee haw or post up a pic or whatever!

A laser is a great way to see just how much your moving around on target.

Amen to that. Was at Spring G&A Saturday with the wife and someone was shooting something big down at the other end from us and had a green laser and the wife got a chance to see a great example of terrible trigger control when the laser moved around a bit on target and then jumped way below then way above target while firing and no new hole was made in target.

I have shot a few Sigs and my next handgun purchase hopefully will be a Sig P226 Elite dark with threaded barrel.  I just love how smooth they are and how they shoot.  I have read somewhere that the newer Sigs aren't as well made as the older models.  Is that true?  And I have read that Sig has tried to cut down cost with a plastic guide rod and lower quality springs cheaper parts.  Has anyone else heard of this?

Nah, never been big on lasers  :th_thicon_question:

A laser is a great way to see just how much your moving around on target.

Yup, so many new shooters want to use a laser until they actually get a hold of one.
