I noticed you mentioned the Hill Country, but it's a big area.

We have a few acres in Pipe Creek, between Bandera and Boerne.

Good morning all. Army vet, former dirty DoS and DoD contractor, now LEO in North Texas.

A member of another "TexasForum" turned me on to this site. I'm here to see where people train (I'm a member at TDSA), how people train (instructors and programs), stay fresh on all the latest gun gossip (like the upcoming Glock 1911.....j/k), and maybe do a little buying, selling, and trading. I'm looking at getting into reloading in the next year or two so I'll be collecting as much info as I can about that. Otherwise I'll be pretty low key, I'm not a chatter box.

Thanks for having me,
Nathan

Howdy from Brazos County and welcome :th_thicon_idea: Lots of good knowledgeable people in this place.
We have had a discussion or two here about the Shockwave. Saw one at a local gun show last month. Found it interesting but, IMO, the $525 price tag plus tax was a little high when Mossberg has the MSRP listed at $455. Would consider one if it was around $350 or so. Same with the Remington's 870 Tac-14  https://www.remington.com/shotguns/pump-action/model-870/model-870-tac-14 Haven't seen one of those in the wild though.

U. S. Coast Guard 1975; retired as a CWO4 (Finance and Supply) just a few days shy of a total of 30 years active duty total; 17 years ago the end of this month!
