EDC = Walther PPQ.
HOME = Ruger SP101 .357 ( 3" ).
BUW = Rossi .38 spcl.

Gravitating toward SW SD9VE for EDC.

SD9VE for EDC.

Why the SD9VE over an M&P for a little more?
Difference in quality, function and features is pretty significant.
Here are some good low priced options if you aren't set on the SD9VE:

Used $350 http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/2086_1089/products_id/718002823
New, no safety $430 http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/2086_1089/products_id/38991
New, FDE, no safety $446 http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/2086_1089/products_id/97768
New, with safety $446 http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/2086_1089/products_id/57858

Shipwreck,

I've returned to carrying an OLD Model 12 S&W snub-nose of the same sort that I carried off-duty when I was an 18YO rookie LEO in 1966.
(My revolver is older than some of our forum members BUT it still shoots FINE.)

yours, satx

Several in rotation depending on weather and what I'm wearing. Warm weather: Ruger LCR .327 Mag or SW 442. Jacket weather: SP 101 2.25" .357 or LCRx "3 .38+P.

CZ 75 PCR in rotation with a CZ 75 BD.   :thumbsup1:

I recently added a CZ 75  P01 to the stable, but like to run at least 500 rounds through an intended  EDC before I'll carry it. And I also have TruGlo TFX sights on my carry CZ's, and have not installed those on the P-01 yet either.  So its still a safe queen ATM.

I've been trying to observe my patterns ... here's how I see this decision playing out:

Dress gun (suit or tux):  Wiley Clapp LW Commander
Casual: Whichever suits my mood (Silverback, DutyOne, Wiley Clapp or 22TCM in approximately that order of likelihood)

Yeah I like it.. I've been wanting to try the USP compact tactical for some time now but I can never find one when I have the money and when I don't have the money my local gun shop has one in stock smh... I've never carried anything smaller so I don't know what to compare it to...

Still G43.... Looking for Shields (can get them for 289 before FFL online.)  Gonna hit the gun show and See if a canik TP9SA is under 320 out the door..    I'd love to carry a CZ75 but unless it's winter my 5'4 130 frame can't conceal it.

S&W is offering the cash rebate ($75) again now, in addition (pick one) to the item rebate (2 mags, mag loader, 2 boxes of Critical Defense) on M&P Full Size, Compact, and Shield.

According to https://www.smith-wesson.com/rebates Texas residents can only apply for the item rebate:

Quote
Consumers residing in Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. states with restrictions on magazine capacities and/or ammunition transfers will be eligible for a $75 mail-in cash rebate with the purchase of qualifying pistols.
