Small Flatbed Trucks

Is there a pretty good selection of older, manual transmission, compact trucks available for sale in your region?  I ask because I'll be looking for one in the next couple of months to pull behind a small motor home.  The ones around here (Ohio) are plagued with rusty bodies and frames.

Texas still has more cows than people with pickups close behind. And if you can get there in a day its close

Everyone up north here obviously heard about the huge flood problem Texas had earlier this year...Is there any salvage laws regarding "flood vehicles" or is it "buyer beware?"
Does anyone know of any particular places or web sites I could go to to locate what I'm looking for?

I'd assume it's all "buyer beware".  Autotrader.com is where I'd start.

you might want to try texas direct auto. http://www.texasdirectauto.com/
If a vehicle is a salvage vehicle it has to be marked on the title. some folks get around that by sending it out of state and washing the title.  Always get a CARFAX.

"CarCrap"   aka CarFax has their head up there ASSES!!

I bought a used truck 8/12, tried to trade it in in OCT 13 AND THE cAR cRAP came back as my truck had been "Totaled" 2/13 !!
I drive it everyday and it hasn't been hit anytime!!  Try and contact anyone there....they are partners with the dealers.
This makes any dealer only offer "Wreck" value!   $5,000 for a $17,000 truck.

WOW !!  It sure is gettin' tough to have much faith in anything when we hear about things like that.

I'll check out Texas Direct and see what I find.

Thanks for the info.
