SIG SAUER, Inc. is pleased to announce the ultra-compact MPX Copperhead is now shipping and available in retail stores.

The SIG MPX Copperhead redefines the sub-gun category with a new level of operator safety, in-field adaptability and proven reliability in the harshest environments with unconventional design, unmatched performance, and familiar AR handling. Completely ambidextrous, the SIG MPX is great for left- or right-handed shooters with its dual-sided selector switch, magazine release, charging handle and bolt release. The SIG MPX operates from a fully-closed and locked rotating bolt, offering enhanced reliability and safety in use. A short-stroke gas piston allows the SIG MPX to run all weights and brands of 9mm ammunition with no adjustments to the gas valve.

Ship, At the beginning of the year Champion had one for a few days but it wasn't for sale. As a regional hub for Sig they put it on display for a few says to drum up interest and then passed it to along to another store.

I handled it for a couple minutes and found it to be a nice little package. 2K worth of nice I don't know

I looked online and I see they are available for $1500. I think it is cool, but not $1500 cool

The CZ Scorpion Micro looks awesome, though. But, that's around $1200. But, I think in the next administration, you may not be able to shoulder these braces again... I hate to spend that much money

I googled the name of the gun and "forsale" earlier today. Saw it a few places.

I'm thinking you won't be able to buy the gun period. Along with many many more that they deem scary.

I just meant - if you HAVE one. You will later not be able to shoulder it.

I'd love a Scorpion Micro, and have looked at some of these tiny 5.56 pistols with a brace. But, I know the opinion will change later, and that is why I have not gotten one.

Just show em your handicapped placard and tell em to piss off.

I dont see them reversing the ruling again.  its not like they are comfortable to shoulder anyhow.

The ATF somewhat recently stated that you CAN shoulder a brace on a pistol. That is an administrative change. It will likely be reversed, IMHO, when the next democrat gets elected and loads up their own people in the government.

That is why I have not jumped to buy a pistol with a brace when they made the change saying it is okay. I think it's just a matter of time before it goes back to the way it was. That is what I am referring to.

It would be nice to essentially have a short barreled rifle, without the paperwork - if you keep one of those braces on it instead of a stock.

OK. Have to disagree with you though. Although the ATF can do what they want I don't think that shouldering a pistol brace on a short barrel rifle is an issue they will revisit any time soon. Of course that's barring any type of incident involving a firearm with a pistol brace or vertical grip that makes the national news and raises the hackles of the anti 2A's.
