Cool.

I am so glad I don't have to take that damn class anymore. I have had my license since 1996. Many of the first batch of licenses were only good for 2 years - so everyone wouldn't renew at once. 1/2 got two year ones, and 1/2 got four year ones. I took that class 4 or 5 times before they got rid of it.

I HATED the CHL class! 11 hours and 2 of my buddies were no shows, so I was solo. Got caught talking to a guy taking the class dressed in a security outfit (no offense to security guards at all) who thought he was SWAT. According to him he outshot his SWAT buddies and shooting smiley faces in targets. It was a loooooong 11 hours. hahahaha. There were 49 of us in that class.

My first one was a 4 year license. Love the online renewal!

In '97 I had a retired DPS Sergeant for my first CC class and he was all business. I was one of the unlucky ones that got the two year license. Subsequent classes were taught by yahoo warriors with BS stories that made the class unbearable. One attempted to tell me that if I didn't stay and listen to his buddies CC insurance upsale I would fail the class. Let's just say after a brief discussion I had my ppwk signed and I was out the door.
Around 2010 I read about Arizona issuing carry licenses to non residents and that those licenses were accepted in Texas and about thirty other states through reciprocal agreements. Cost was 50$ and proof of some type of firearms training. I used my military form DD 214 from 1970 and four weeks later I had my license. Saved about $150 and having to sit through another mind numbing class.
As my current Arizona license expires next year and as Texas finally dropped the cost, requirements and class time I may get a Texas license.

(Congrats)

So....the drugs wore off. On day 2.

I'm feeling a little moody. I cried because I couldn't find my spare mag. Then I laughed when I found it in with the tampons.

And.... I can't find ANY shoes that match my range bag!!!! Ughhhh!!!!!!!!
