Good afternoon from North Texas
« on: May 02, 2018, 05:26:54 PM »
Been lurking for some time here and other shooting forums.
Took up target shooting a few years ago.
I see some experts here I'd like to learn from (and a few characters).

Thank you for the warm welcome.
I see I have 3 "likes".
What does that mean?
To the location question I'm in the Park Cities.

If you've ever used facebook, it's basically the same concept.

If you haven't, then it's pretty straight-forward: if other members on the site like and/or agree with whatever content you write in a particular post, they'll 'like' your post.

You'll accrue "likes" the more you post and the more active you become, and you can click on the notice to see specifically which individuals liked whatever it is you wrote. It's kind of like an informal and good-natured measure of how well respected you are around here, how useful/interesting the knowledge is that you share with others, and/or which people agree with the opinions you express in Politics/Gripes/Complaints forum.

You can give them out for the same reasons, though you participating in giving others likes is completely optional if that's not your thing.
