Axxe sometimes around here we have to run a lil vinegar through the ol coffee maker. Cleans out the lime build up. Not sure you have the good ol hard water in your parts we have here. 15 yrs for a coffee maker is awesome 2 or 3 is long lived one here even with cleaning they just get too slow.....

As for garages I added a bay and 1/2 to the rear of my 2 car attached garage and I have a 20x20 metal shed in the back. Added the bay and 1/2 yrs ago as I needed the space to build this car I was doing at that time.

The shed is for storage of lawn mowers weed-eaters and excess shiat one collects over 40 plus yrs of being away from the nest....

Now the extra bay is mainly my man cave area and used for working on whatever I may be at the time.

Yes its a drive through to the back.

With the land now and the divorce yrs back costing me the car I have gotten away from the car scene like I was in to.

Now my dilemma is to decide what where and whne/how I will build etc on the land for retirement.

Gonna HAVE to upgrade.

Got a couple yrs to decide that and get things in place.

I do like my new coffee pot, just in case anyone might be wondering!  :wave1:

I SUSPECT Axxes coffee pot is STILL workin fine.
HE said it shuts down after 15 or 20 miniutes.
:thinker:  aint that how its supposed to work fer OLDSHEIMERS ?  :th_thicon_lol:

He just aint guzzling the pot in 15 minutes like he used to.
The pot didnt slow down,,,,HE DID.  :th_thicon_funny:

When my coffee pot slows down I put about  2cups of white vinegar threw it  and run it threw a coffee filter
to catch all the minerals and run it threw a second time.

Duly noted! But it really was the coffee maker this time, and not me that was getting tired and not working properly!  :rocknroll2:

When you retire, paid holidays just don't seem to matter anymore. Actually, for most intents, it's more of PITA kind of thing for retired people!  :wave1:

I really like the purple paint law in Texas (Texas PC 30.05).  You don't have to have any words, and it says alot.

have to admit that I didn't know about the above - had to google it - interesting - wonder if all the evil-doers know about it ?

I've got plenty of fence to stain so guess I'll pass on adding purple to the mix

Just make sure the stripe is at last 8" high, at least 1" wide and the bottom is 3-5' above the ground.

I only found out about this several years ago. There is some land, pretty much sitting vacant as far as I know, and along the road, very little fencing is left, but on many of the trees and fence posts there is purple paint on them. I asked my father about it, and he told me about the law and trespassing in Texas if there is purple paint on the trees or fence posts, even if there is no signage prohibiting trespassing.
