Where do I begin... letís start with the latest. About two years I was drilling holes in my sonís pinewood derby car so I could add some weights to it. The damn 3/8 drill bit kept getting stuck I was getting pissed. So I removed the car from the clamp and held the car in my hand and preceded to slowly drill (not through) the car. Well it just happened that the drill bit gripped the wood well and quickly went through the wooden car and into my left hand. The 3/8 inch bit entered my hand between my ring and little finger. Yeah it hurt but I hated that I foolishly placed my hand where a bit could cut through.

I live in Tomball, just north of Houston.

Sometime after the war, with several thousands of dollars and buy up as many military surplus rifles as I could. Then return to present and make a killín!

General Gun Discussion / Misfits shooting range

Has anyone heard or been to misfits shooting range? Itís a private range in Magnolia. Family membership is $340 annually with no shooting fees. Been wanting to join a private range that isnít over an hour away.

I really enjoy my American Classic II 1911 full size though. Great trigger and solid bullseye accuracy.

I always wanted to be a stuntman driver or a race car driver. But lottery winner is also a great paying job that I would enjoy.

Damn near impossible question to answer, itís like asking me which one of my children I love the most! I like several of my guns very much but each for different reasons. Some are because of its historical significance, accuracy, and fun/ease of shooting because of the ammo or cost of.

Now a Ruger revolver,, :thumbsup1: ,, ALL my revolvers are Rugers,, with one exception,,
being a "just because"  ( iffin I remember right )  No#1  birdshead  .32 caliber black powder  revolver, built in 1867.
Agreed, I really like my Ruger revolvers, but Rugerís semi autos donít excite or empress me.

Is there one this week? I never understood the award shows and never noticed even they are on. I hear that watching grass grow and paint drying is more entertaining.

I buy guns for several reasons, first protection, second historical, third because itís cool and I wanted it. As most of yíall the cost is one concern but the wife is a larger concern. I just tell her that that ďnew lookingĒ gun isnít new itís been in the safe for years just wanted to shoot it again. Just I know it lying to her, but she always low balls the price on the crap she buys so I call it even.  :th_thicon_idea:

Merry Christmas

Damn traffic on I-45 and then HWY 75 308nato and I are calling it a day. Moving at about 1 mile a hour, thereís at least 2-3 miles to go to get into Huntsville. Sorry guys.

This is the reason for the BS traffic!

Mighty smart of Txdot to tear down a bridge and close the interstate before Christmas with only a 2 lane road as a detour.
