Took my son for this first handgun shooting this weekend, the kid followed all my instructions so seriously that I realized he was so comfortable that he hit the target like it was nothing. My son is a beast!

Maybe they shouldn't be armed. California is just full of retards.

I don't know what you want us to see. I see pit marks, which in my own opinion doesn't hurt. I've bought several used firearms and many have small pit marks. Most are very good shooters! But what I tell everyone replace or fix what ever if it makes you feel safer. It won't cause you trouble, I wouldn't stop shooting it.

To this I say bull s***! When I was a young boy I killed plenty of armadillo's with a pump up & CO2 Crosman pellet rifle and .22 Shorts from my bedroom window or front porch when I saw them digggin' in my mom's garden or front yard. Now that was over 50 years ago and I guess 'dillos could have morphed into some type of super critter but I bet the guy missed hit a rock, sidewalk, tree or it may have been a through and through w/o hitting any vital organs and ricocheted off something under or behind the animal. Armadillo's are plenty tough but not tough enough to stop a .38 Sp round.
Got to be more to the story. A bullet to the jaw gotta hurt though.
As someone who carries a S&W J frame in .38 SP 90% of the time loaded with Hornandy Critical Defense and shoots about a thousand rounds of .38 SP through my various pistols every year I am biased :th_thicon_idea:

I agree, it's BS, as a kid we had armadillos in our garage every year. I've kill them with a .22LR and 9mm. Even there was one time I saw one way out near the end of our property and I didn't have a gun so I used a stick to beat the crap out of it. I won he lost, never forget that my dad thought I was a crazy kid for beating an armadillo to death with a club like stick. He wasn't happy but shooting it would have been ok... didn't understand it then and still some today.

I'm glad I don't have to work tomorrow, maybe Monday too. I might re-clean some of those rifles that have been sitting in the safe.

Oh  there's more...

My wife, not a perfect human (neither am I) but she was beautiful as a new bride today, she came home with tons-o-beer for me to enjoy during my extended hurricane weekend!
What a woman!

let's not forget how the chinamen joined the ruckus and we got our butts kicked in the '50s
Yeah, but China wasn't a world economy back then. More than half, maybe 80%, of Chinese income come from NATO countries nowadays. Its economically smart for china to f' off North Korea and work with the USA and assassinate Kim un.

Other than that,
Lil Kim wants us to attack first, so that he and (he hopes) the world will consider us as the aggressor and the evil imperialist as he sells his people that we are. I bet he won't put the trigger first, he has to know that if he does, he and his subjects are ash.

I have always feared a nuclear war, I go crazy thinking about trying to survive one. An EMP over the mid-west would destroy our electrical grid for several years. Millions would die due to the lack of electricity, transportation, and access to water and food. Kim doesn't have to blow up a city.

I'm really thinking about preparing my family to either bug in of if possible and if it's smart to bug out. If we go to Defcon 2. I'm moving my family west before SHTF.

What would be a good alternative to Photobucket? I'm not a techie.

Photobucket doesn't work anymore? They want me to pay them $400 per year to use my photos on a 3rd party host. WTF?

So again at the range today with my 9 year old son. Damn it was hot, but still we both had fun!

Glad he is on our side! That's a bad ass shot!

Live in College Station and just so happen to have a couple of boxes of 8mm.  :rocknroll2:

Great, you might need more than a couple of boxes...haha, we can meet up some time in July or August. July during a weekday would be the best for me. PM me what days would be the best for you and what range we are to meet at. I'll bring my lee enfield too, I remember you saying you had one too before.

WoW! An old work horse that's been on the trail awhile. Love old military firearms. Did you just get that?
If so that's a great find.

It's not mine, it's my old retired bosses father's gun. He gave it to me to clean up and told me I can shoot it if I wanted. I'm giving the gun back next week.

The Mutha Lode!! Fourth rifle from the bottom. Is that a Gewehr 43? Haven't seen one outside of a museum. Man what I wouldn't give to be able to shoot that. Two paratrooper .30 carbines. Whooweee!

Seriously you have a lot of money there but you probably know that. I would definitely take out a insurance policy on those rifles. First dibs on any you would like to get rid of  :icon_wink:

Yes it's a G-43 in 8mm. I would love for you to shoot it with me if you would like some time this summer, if it's on your bucket list. Aren't you near Houston or college station? What's missing in the picture is a pair or 1903s, a pair of M1917s, and another Lee enfield no4. Mk1.
