A stripped lower from PSA.  That's about it.  One of these days I should do something with it.

Had family show up and stay.  Couldn't get away (even though I REALLY wanted to).

With some of those odd ball choices I'm surprised they didn't list a cap and ball revolver.

Heck, a lot of those folks in NOLA still haven't been able to get theirs back after the mass confiscations after Katrina.  The NOPD took them and dumped them into barrels in unconditioned warehouses.  So unless they're all stainless, most have likely rusted beyond the point of ever being useful  And LA has had a Republican governor for several years.  Jindahl hasn't lifted a finger to correct this at all.

That's why I don't own a wheel gun

Funny, that's why I always carry two.  :th_thicon_lol:

Josey Wales carried four.

Handguns and Revolvers / Re: Why would I want a revolver?

Because they're here. Revolvers have been around forever. It's kind of a traditional thing. Every gun collector should have a wheel gun. Heck, I'm looking around tot a replacement black powder revolver. The Colt Walker was the most powerful handgun from 1847 until the 357 magnum was introduced.

That 'feed ramp polished' statement would put me off.  WAY too easy for a monkey with a Dremel to screw up a 1911.

I've thought about grabbing a 91-30 and one of those Center Balanced bullpup kits for a 'gee whiz' gun.  But other things are in line ahead of that.

I think that's an oxymoron.

Yet another reason to avoid Denny's.

I never really had any guns...was just trying to be cool here so pretended ;)

so who did we meet at the range days, and whose guns were he shooting?

I borrowed a crazy gun nut neighbor lol

I just download pictures of guns off the innernet.  Guns make loud noises and are scary.

870 will have a lot more accessories available over the Winchester.  Either will be a great, reliable piece.  The only one that will have more accessory options would be the Mossy 500 platform.

Mine got washed away by the flood

Mine were lost during that boat trip on Lake Baikal.  We had set sail that day on a 3 hour tour.......a 3 hour tour.

She was dating a lawyer at the time.

Uuhhh, what is your Mom's name? I dated a lot of ladies before I finally got married.

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure you didn't die of cancer.  :afraid4:

You never know.  Some folks on Twitter have been retweeted by Andrew Breitbart in the last week or two.

Romney really must have brought his A game if he was able to defeat them beyond the ability to argue the point.

He really did ;)

I was watching from a hotel room in Baltimore and following along on Twitter.  I recall where Romney started bringing up the Constitution (which he did more than once) and someone tweeted "Did he just mention the 10th amendment?"  Well, yes he did.  I think it's a sad state of affairs when people are surprised when a Presidential candidate brings up the Constitution.  But he did.  Several times.  Like when Lehrer asked "What do you think is the primary duty of the President""
O:  "To keep the American people safe."
R:  "To protect the Constitution."

Get some good quality (not HF) punches and screwdrivers.  Good set of allen wrenches as well.  Cheap ones will do more damage than good.  And get good files too.  A fine hard Arkansas stone and maybe an Extra Fine ceramic as well.
