General Gun Discussion / Re: Anybody looked at the Keltec Sub 2000

This must be a new one. MAC's review was recent, within the last month or two, and he said that he didn't have any problems with it holding zero.

Also, be aware aware that it is basically an iron sight gun. If you put an optic on it, it won't fold.

I can't find it because of filters at work, but someone made a microdot mount for it that folds out of the way and allows the gun to fold. I think Military Arms Channel reviewed it.

I always thought it would make a good trunk gun if I found it at a good price. throw it in a bag with two 30 round glock mags, leave it in the trunk and don't worry about it.

Trump has no chance, has never had a chance, and will not be the next president.

The polls have shown it since the primaries. He has no path to the presidency. He could win Ohio, Florida, North Carolina, AND Nevada and still lose to Clinton. PA is not in play, and never has been.

What flashlight mount is that?

I don't have to worry about social security because I know the program won't exist by the time I'm old enough to benefit from it.

Doesn't stop them from taking my money though. Money I could invest in something where I at least have a chance of seeing it again!

Saw a video of a guy on a snow mobile taking out a charging moose with a .40 cal glock.

Makes me think that multiple accurate shots can make up for handguns being relatively anemic.

It sounded a lot like he was implying armed insurrection or assassination or something. Not voting.

Wouldn't be the first time he's implied that his supporters should use violence. Won't be the last. The man's an authoritarian asshole.

Can't vote for him or Hillary.

Nah, if its in college station its gotta be at least halfway decent because the zoning laws are designed to make the town look perfect!

I mean, In the 5 years I lived there the only run down places I ever found were in Bryan...

Also, congrats!

Was on the phone with my manager in Israel when apparently the computer I use to access our code, which sits beneath his desk, caught fire.

Soooooo its been an interesting morning!

LMAO ... it's not a debate.  The Platypus dude ain't gonna blow up his G in the hope that my Colt is improperly prepared.  He already knows my Colt will show up wet and ready and that I'm not a limp wristed sissy that shouldn't be shooting a man's gun in the first place.

I only posted the loaded challenge 'cause I read his hate speech one too many times.

Hi sorry, I was too busy being on my honeymoon to reply!

I think its sad that you don't have enough confidence in the 1911 design to challenge me on even footing! You literally challenged a stock 500 dollar gun to a competition of reliability with a stock 1000 dollar gun, and that wasn't enough! You had to stipulate that we use ammo you think my gun cannot use reliably!

I mean, if you like your Colt so much and think its so reliable at least have the courage to not stipulate ammo choice. Its like you pulled up in a flex fuel capable mustang and challenged my non-flex fuel capable Focus to a race and by the way we have to use E85.

But you know what, I'm feeling generous. I'll accept your challenge on one condition: You use the factory sealed 1911 magazine of my choice!

You wanna buy your vest back?  :th_thicon_lol: :th_thicon_lol: :th_thicon_lol:

Home from my honeymoon!  :wave1:

got married in 20001.

Oh good! Glad to hear the world doesn't end in 2016... but why'd you come back to this time?

 :th_thicon_lol: :th_thicon_lol: :th_thicon_lol:

First gun I ever bought was a Springfield XD9. I don't carry or shoot it much anymore, but I can't bring myself to sell it. I bought it the day I turned 21.

Kel-tec PF9.

It wasn't terrible, it just wasn't good. If you only have 250 and need a pocket 9 its a pretty decent choice, but if you have 400 you can do a lot better. The trigger is super long and pretty heavy, and has a false reset that got me every time. The sights were hard to use and I once had it sheer the take down pin because it worked its way loose during firing and then the slide took the top of it off.

Kicked really hard for a 9 too, made it fun to shoot at the range but not easy to make quick follow up shots with.

Kel-tec customer support is really good though. Mailed me a replacement pin pretty quickly. Still would have been bad in a self defense situation though!
