A similar rally by a different group two weeks ago raised tensions after a confrontation between activists and a lawmaker resulted in House members voting to make it easier to put "panic buttons" in their office to call security.

pretty cool video from SAAMI

Les Baer Heavyweight Monolith.
Approximately 1600 rounds
Wilson Combat - Single Sided safety
Smith & Alexander Magwell
VZ Simonich Gunners

Have original serialized double sided safety, Arched Mainspring Housing and wood grips.

Will come with 2 mags of your choice. WC 47D's, ETMs, McCormick 10rd, ACT,  or the originals.

Do Not have original "awesome" cardboard box... Will come with a generic plastic box, above mentioned parts and a bushing wrench.

Gun is still extremely tight...

1600.00 FTF only

This is how is looks with the other parts.

« on: November 28, 2014, 07:28:18 PM »
Looking for suggestions for off the wall great shooters! can be Revolvers, Semi, or a blast from the past 100+ years old, etc.

No real purpose as I have every base covered 20 times over (HD, SD, Range, etc...)

Just not interested in anything that can be found in the LGS now-a-days.

Off Topic Discussion (NON FIREARM RELATED) / hell yesssssss
« on: September 23, 2014, 09:24:15 PM »

So I am in this training class (Neutron Porosity) with a DR (PHD) Professor that is about as dry as eating a box of Saltines...
serious suckage!!!!!!

Finally after all day I figured out a math problem.  :bangheadonwall:

Big accomplishment since I haven't used higher math in over 20yrs since I was in College....

Although, it really makes me feel like a dumb ass when everyone in my class is fresh outta school and I am the only one who HAS to pay attention.

Cleaning out the closet so to speak.

Beretta 92FS Compact Type M w/ Trijicon Night Sights.

Beretta Blue Box, 1 Mag

For those that do not know this is a Single Stack Beretta 92 that was not imported in high numbers.

Houston or B/CS  FTF
CHL holders preferred.

S&W 1006 adjustable sights, 4 Mags (2 original yellow follower, 2 modern white follower), + 1 NIB Mag base pad. Good condition some light wear spots.

Box, Papers, Cleaning Kit, etc. Unknown round count.  *Box SN does not match Gun SN.

Handguns and Revolvers / Vp9 review
« on: August 02, 2014, 07:35:25 PM »
Glock killer if they market it right..

/ end of review... LoL

Put 50rds through a rental and was impressed enought to bring one home, which speaks volumes as I had a p30l and sold it because of the horrendous trigger.

The cheesy night sights have to go As soon as I see some Henies available thou. My trigger seems to have ore pre travel than initial reports. But it's smooth and light, one of the best stock poly triggers out there, period.

Quick iphone pics on the grill vs my G17

Off Topic Discussion (NON FIREARM RELATED) / Plausible deniability
« on: May 23, 2014, 07:15:02 PM »
So your mowing the lawn inebriated, and run over something important to your significant other.
Do you claim.

plausible deniability?
Leave it and hope she don't notice?
Blame the horses?
Suck it up, and take it like a man?

General Gun Discussion / Pay it forward
« on: May 08, 2014, 10:04:34 PM »
I didn't see one of these threads.

All shooters have accumulated stuff they will never use, so I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread about giving your unwanted items to people who need them.

PM your info and it's yours.. ( just don't expect next day shipping :))
First up is a S&A arched main spring housing Gov sized 1911, blued

Second is a ambidextrous 1911 safety, blued (from a Les Baer, it might require fitting or not fit at all depending on your builder)

General Gun Discussion / 2min job... + 4hrs..
« on: May 04, 2014, 08:24:36 PM »
Go to change a FP spring in one of my guns, which is normally about a 2 min job. Unless, of course, you forget to put your thumb on it to retain the plunger and cap... SOB! 4 hours of crawling around on my hands and knees the minuscule cap is back on.  Hate when that happens..

*Sold pending funds/trade*

WTT Glock 19 Gen 4. LNIB, 3 mags, backstraps, and all other stuff in the box.. Have a Glockmeister Grip plug .. (Doesnt work with the beavertails)

My wife bought it and preferred her 19c more and I prefer the 17 more, so time to find it a home that will use it.

Can add cash for the right trade too.

Introduce Yourself / Hello

Just thought I'd say hi..

Live out by B/CS and been shooting  as long as I can remember. My interests have changed a lot over the years and now I primarily shoot handguns.  Relatively new to most forums and decided to join the "local" one..
