Two college students, who apparently were well versed in unarmed self defense, disarmed 2 thugs with a gun, taking the gun then beating the crap out of them.  Here's the story, look at their faces.  Wow.

Do you guys know if anyone make a handgun made mostly / entirely out of Titanium?

Anybody hear what they went for?

Yea, as a kid my sister believed in them.  'Mazing what answers she got :)

But the nice part was that a couple bought another one and replaced it.  that was pretty cool.

So what happens when these repo guys break into the wrong house again, but in a Stand Your Ground state where the owner is armed and pissed?

Shipwreck noted
I've read many stories over the years about what supposedly goes on in that country. Horrendous stories - how he punishes several generations of the same family.

We lived just south of the DMZ in the late 90s.  During the winter of 97-98, the local press reported that many North Koreans were peeling bark off the trees trying to eat it to survive, while the military takes most of the food and resources.  The founder of Hyundai, who grew up in what became North Korea, hired a barge and filled it with rice and sent it north to a port city where he grew up to try to help out.
The dock workers were reportedly "insulted" that they were  requested to unload the rice, and refused to do so or to release the barge until he paid $1M ransom.  (The South Korean navy allegedly developed plans to sink the barge in the harbor, but didn't).  The Hyundai founder paid the ransom, they unloaded the grain, the vast majority was then shipped to the military, not the town.

That's North Korea.  My hope in the future is that I can have lunch with the upcoming heir, Menta Lee Ill.   :scream3:

"Outlaw power drills and only outlaws will have power drills"

Actually, you can do it in the US.  It's called a 900 number.  If you're not marketing to kids, and meet a few other criteria (like a quick disclaimer on the initial answer and a short grace period (a few seconds), then, just like the "Psychic Friends only $3.99 per minute" help line, you too can be in the "Telemarketing Evaluation Service".  These services, albeit a little hokey, are legit services whereby you provide an evaluation service for each telemarketer that calls.

That's a new one... Makes you wonder why he chose that approach.

Thanks.  Mine is a little older and skated by.

I don't have a problem with an improvement like a rail addition.

On the other, here is a slightly bigger rail gun, with a muzzle velocity of 25,000 fps.

Semi serious question:  if Texas allows the use or threat of lethal force to protect persons or property, could someone in Texas in a similar situation walk in with a weapon and recover the bike?

Just curious.

Regardless of what you call "it", does the world make sense without some balancing / equality in the end?

I just sent a respectful email to Dominos Customer Service supporting the delivery driver and hoping they don't fire him, which they appear to have done in the past.

(Thanks Domineaux)

Glad you liked it. "aah-na lee-set er-hobby-uh"

It was an important phrase to know living in the middle east ;)
And I hope it sets off bells and lights at one of the NSA sigint centers.  :scream3:

Would you like to know how to say "Zero (or other named politician) :th_thicon_idea: is a terrorist"?

!أنا لست إرهابي

I'm not a terrorist... LOL
